We rolled up to the drive thru around 12:30 am right after I got off of work on June 28th, 2019. We weren't blasting music or having side conversations. We pulled up and spoke clearly into the speaker. Our order came out to 9 dollars and change. We hand the woman at the window my debit card and without even repeating the order first. Inserts my card and charges me for the food AND then proceeds to repeat the order and hand us the food. As I'm listening I realize the order is wrong and then give the order back. Theres walking and talking back and forth between workers and finally a manager comes to the window. I expect her to just refund me the difference for the order they got wrong and I'll be on my way. But no. This woman charges me the full price for what I originally ordered and "refunds" me the money. Only for her to tell me that the funds will show back up in my account in 3 business day and it's a Friday. So I'm not seeing those 17 dollars until Tuesday of next week. And not to mention the 9 dollars she charged me for my original order on top of that. Now I'm 26 dollars in the hole for something that should have cost less than half of that. And the best part is that she didn't even run it by me. She showed up to the window and decided her action is above what the customer had to say and did everything before even talking to us about it and she just gave me my original order and kept the other order even though I'm the one experiencing the inconvenience because of THEIR lack of attention. No remorse on what she did, no apology, and proceeded to defend her actions until she realized she was in the wrong. I've had bad experiences at McDonalds before, the typical wrong order, food item is missing, stale nuggets but it gets corrected and I'm on my way. But never have I ever been double charged because of a mistake of an untrained employee and...
Read moreEDIT FOR TODAY Well, today was the THIRD TIME that that the inept workers at this store left out my promotional item. The promotion through DD was to add a Coke and get a free 10 piece MsNugget order. I wouldn't have bought the Coke had i known I wasn't going to get the nuggets. Absolutely disgusting that the workers here can't follow instructions or count...Edit with today's horrid experience Today was a whole new level of disgusting. I ordered the Quarter pounder pack which comes with 2 burgers, 20 nuggets and fries. I also ordered the free 20 nuggets...i didn't get ANY nuggets, called the store and spoke to a supposed manager who got ugly with me, yelled, argued with me, kept speaking over me and hung up on me when all I was asking was that she do her jod and make sure those under her do the same.. and last week... No Ok... I've had some bad McDonald's before, but this was horrible. This store is 0.5 miles from me and NOTHING was hot...after the Dasher had to sit there and wait for it. Asked for EXTRA Mac sauce and got none, but asked for extra onion and I must've scraped at least a quarter cup of onions off my Big Mac, and then it had extra pickles..I didn't order that. What's the point in ordering a Big Mac without the sauce? It was so dry I had to put mayo on it and that didn't help. I could have saved $1.65 and gotten a Double Cheeseburger. The bun was so old and stale that the top flaked off. The filet of fish was cold, tasteless and had about a teaspoon of tartar sauce and yes, I ordered extra tartar sauce. Everything was cold!! The Double Cheeseburgers were ordered with extra pickles and had 1 slice. I paid too much for this order for it to have been the most disappointing meal we've ever had from any...
Read moreFood was what you'd expect of McDonald's, so that alone warrants no more than a 3 star rating. The reason I only give this location 2 stars is the service I received... or lack thereof.
I went inside to place a takeout order. There weren't any other customers in the lobby. The assistant manager looked at me from behind the counter and told me to place my order using the self service kiosk. I told her that I'd prefer she take my order at the counter. She then came out from behind the counter and walked over to the kiosk saying, "No, come here. I'll show you." I understand they're probably under some pressure to lead customers to the kiosks to bring down labor costs, etc., but it makes sense to back off once the customer says they'd rather not.
Now I'm no stranger to the quick serve industry nor to its technologies. I worked for 7 years supporting restaurant technology. When it was apparent that she had no intention of doing anything but standing there supervising while I did all the order entry, I told her, "I got this."
At that point she walked back behind the counter. Just then a family of five walked in. Guess what happened...? She eagerly took their order AT THE COUNTER.
And guess what happened next? Because I refuse to use my credit card at kiosks and selected the "Pay at Counter" option, the family's order went to the kitchen before mine. So while I arrived several minutes before that family, the "service" I received forced me to wait several minutes longer than them despite having a much smaller order.
If you want a so-so quality meal and to be treated like you're at a self service gas station, go for it. But if service is important to you and you want to be valued as a customer, AVOID THIS...
