Panda Express excels at speed and flavor, but not at health. This specific Panda Express has some pretty interesting hours, as one non-holiday I visited they were closed at approximately 4 PM and another day they were just about to close at closer to 3 PM. This could be a mistake on my part so you'll just want to see for yourself. The food is the same as any other Panda around the U.S. It's not authentic chinese food, never claims to be, and it tastes good. Putting together a plate under 500 calories can be a challenge if you dont want to double up on vegetables with the vegetable base, and something like broccoli and beef as the entree. Most entrees are approximately 300 calories. This panda express has their kitchen front and center for the world to see, it's nice to see the food being cooked. The lo mein is tasty but simultaneously feels like you're eating a series of long packing peanuts, I would get it everytime if it wasnt 300 more calories than the mixed vegetables. Overall the price point is low and they do a good job of americanizing some classic...
Read moreSo usually i dont mind going to this panda express but this experience kind of sucked. I asked for a panda bowl with brown rice and kung pao chicken and got what I wanted and note that I was in a rush to eat real quick so i got it to go. I open my bowl when i head back to my work and the woman who served gave me mostly rice with just a thin layer of kung pao and it was just disppaointing to eat cause i was mostly eating brown rice instead of chicken. Please make sure its half and half in the bowl, not a quarter bowl of rice and a thing layer of food. I really would like to get more chicken cause i was still hungry after...
Read moreThey are consistently behind on making the entrées so they never have more than two or three ready. Their portions are smaller than off campus locations. Also the entrées and rice taste different than other locations. I’m not sure if they use less or different ingredients for sauces but three different occasions the food was not edible due to bad taste or dry crusty noodles and rice.
Also I understand the workers are students but their lack of service and just being rude had deterred me from returning to this location ever again. I’ll spend more money at Freebirds next door but get what I...
