The people here are either ignorant or simply don’t care about their customers at all. I had ordered a large pizza delivered with regular crust and a thin crust pizza arrived at the house. I call them and tell them what happened and they say they have no idea as to what i’m talking about because no one ordered a thin crust and my order is regular. That’s EXACTLY MY POINT.
So he doesn’t believe me and says because there’s no proof that i can’t get a refund or a new pizza. I tell him that i can bring it in but that i shouldn’t have to do that because i asked and paid for delivery. He then says that there’s nothing he can do anyways even if i did show up because he’s not the general manager and that they don’t get here until 4:30pm and it was currently 3pm, about 30 min after my pizza had gotten there. I’m literally begging this guy at this point to just give me a refund or send me a new one and he refuses to do so. So then i realize that this papa johns locations isn’t going to work with me so i sit there and start eating the pizza, avoiding the hard thin crust area.
They call us back and NOW tell us to bring it in because they wont refund since apparently they have video proof that im lying and that the pizza isnt thin crust? I get to the store at 3:30.
I show him my thin crust pizza and this man tells me to my face that it’s regular when there’s literally no crust on there. Papa johns always has a fat poofy crust with all of their pizza, and as you can see in my pictures, the crust is exactly the same size as the rest of the pizza. It’s a minor thing but it makes all the difference, hence why there’s an option to keep the crust as is, or ask for it thin like i got it.
At this point they refuse to help me because i ate some of the pizza and because apparently it’s regular crust size. I ate one pizza slice and half of three other slices.
I’m very mad about this. Because according to your website, NONE of this should have happened. All i’m supposed to have to do is call, file my complaint, and receive a whole new pizza at my house or my money back. None of these happened. I just want my money back...
Read moreThis is one of the most disorganized, improperly trained employees, chaos clustered pizza places that I have ever been to ever. I placed my order online and then drove there. The place is about 15 minutes away. When I arrived there was only 1 other customer waiting. There were 2 employees; a young kid making the pizzas and a dishevelled female employee. After a few minutes the female asked my name so she she could check the orders. Afterwards she said "Oh, I was just going to start on your order." After +15 minutes or so, I finally see her place the pizza in the oven. So now I know it's gonna be a while. She assured me it only takes 8 minutes. So I step outside and after about 5 minutes I get a text saying my pizza was placed in the oven and that it takes approximately 8 minutes to cook. After 13 minutes I re-enter the place and I don't see my pizza anywhere. I was a little upset with the poor customer service and I ask the female employee about my order. I even mentioned that I had received a recent text saying the pizza was ready! Nope. No such luck. She tells me "Look, we're trying to get all the orders done. Be patient and I will get your pizza ready once it comes outta the oven. Thank you.". So now I realize that I already paid, she's not in a hurry, and I'm just gonna have to grin and bear it. Finally, yes finally, my pizza is done. I grabbed my pizza and left. The total time lapse was about 45 minutes. Ironically when you place an order online they ask for a "TIP" in advance!!! Not happening......avoid this place unless you're a glutton for bad...
Read moreBABCOCK San Antonio Papa John's gets a negative score for SAFETY & CUSTOMER SERVICE/recovery! My daughter is a student at UTSA and used PPJ's address locator to specify her dorm address but once the order was placed, a completely inaccurate address was defaulted. She called the store who assured us they would tell the Doordash driver more specific directions. After 3 teenage girls stood outside the dorm for 15 mins and no delivery, they called the store again and PPJ's said it was out of their hands bec Doordash is a 3rd party. Yes, a 3rd party that PPJ's is contracted with! The male driver ended up texting and calling these teenage girls to try to identify the location bec it was wrong in his app too! Almost an hour past the deliver time, close to 11PM at this point, he managed to find them. Thankfully he was not some creep and profusely apologized, but the food was cold and the girls were afraid it had been tampered with. As a parent, I've written PPJ's TWICE and asked for them to contact me and have received nothing from this San Antonio store. Our usual stores in Austin reach out within a week (sometimes proactively, if delivery is delayed), so I know this is not typical PPJ's service. It just goes to show how the owners of this BABCOCK franchise could care less about their customers or their safety! Simply unacceptable...
