I am dissappointed in the customer service when you as the customer have a problem with your order and the freshness of the salads they sell. What good is them being fast at delivery if half the food they deliver is spoiled. Then they make the customer feel like it's their fault when it's not. Unfortunately, I ordered salads with my pizza and got nothing but dry lettuce. Some of which had brown on the edges like it was spoiled. I reported it to the manager and after much debate about the timing of when I called to report the issue to when I ordered my food I finally got complimentary salads from the manager saying this time it would be fresh. I even had to offer to show her pics of the salad to prove to her I was telling the truth, so she could see what it looked like the minute it arrived to my house. I just didn't feel like calling it in at that minute that evening when I 1st got it and having to wait an additional 30 mins to eat for it to be re-delivered, so I called the next day to report it. Unfortunately, the 2nd time I got my salads they were exactly the same all dry and spoiled. I just threw them away after this point. Not sure how long they sit in the fridge for before being sold to customers, but I don't want to risk getting sick from food poisoning. Read morePIZZA HUT IS BACK Y'ALL. Ok so perhaps they haven't reclaimed their spot at the top, but I can honestly say that if every Pizza Hut experience were to go like mine, they definitely could. My friend and I ordered online - she had to call them because her apartment number was missing from the delivery address. The worker on the phone was super helpful and courteous, which had me pleasantly surprised if I'm being honest. I've grown pretty accustomed to low morale at most fast food places in this post-covid age, Pizza Hut visits in recent memory not usually being the exception. Anyways, the driver delivered our supreme pizza with a likewise positive attitude. When I bit into the pizza, I almost burnt my mouth that's how fresh out of the oven it was (mind you we were only a few minutes away, but still), and the ingredients were so fresh, it made Papa John's look like a cartoon by comparison. I can say without a doubt, I have NEVER had a supreme pizza from Pizza Hut on that level of flavor; I don't know if they've changed it up or what, but I hope they maintain that level of excellence, because it was damn good. The only gripe I have about Pizza Hut recipe-wise is the crust; it still reminds me of animal crackers due to the sweetness, but nonetheless seemed toned down this time around. Read moreFood is good but the app has had glitches and last couple of orders that I have placed do not go smooth at all. Current order, delivery quoted at 45 minutes from time I ordered…okay. No complaint there but, then and after 20 minutes AFTER quoted time of delivery, I get a text that it was picked up by DoorDash and will be delivered in 30 minutes. Try to call and cannot speak to anyone. Frustrating to not be able to speak to someone or cancel when if I know it would be nearly 2 hours after ordering, I would have just cancelled. Do t recommend unless maybe they upgrade their app and/or have a person that can handle these issues in person.
Update….order arrived via DoorDash (which to be clear, was not ordered using DoorDash) and food was room temperature. Get this….i try to make a complaint on the app, and coincidentally, it will absolutely let me log in to place another order but when opening the contact us form, it gives an error.
