I'm officially done with WhatABurger. I had the worst experience I've ever had at a fast food chain. I ordered my meal for curbside and when I arrived at the store, Fernando was collecting the curbside signs. He suggested I go through the drive thru that was packed with about 15 cars. I refused so he unlocked the front door and invited me inside to get my meal. Inside the store was a mess. The floors were covered with fries and food and the trash was overflowing. The manager was running around trying to get all of the orders complete but at least half the staff was bearly moving. I went to the counter and Fernando asked if my order was ready. My order was waiting on the floor because of the many bags they were trying to fill. I realize my food is wrapped by it wasn't the best visual. Next she placed it on the counter next to the fries and asked a girl to verify the order. That girls gave the first girl the finger right in front of me. She then proceeded to give the order a look over and said that it was ready to go. Fernando went and double checked the order and found that it was missing an apple pie and a cookie for the kids meal. He then stated that he had been busy bringing in the curbside signs and was unable to prepare the orders drinks. He said "The cups are next to the soda machine. Go ahead and help yourself. At home, I opened my burger and it looked like it had been leaned on. I asked for it to be cut in half and even that was messed up. (See photos) I know it's tough to always have a perfect experience for the customer when it's busy but this location has only become worse over time. WhatABurger isn't cheap. I can go buy dollar burgers and expect that kind of experience. For now, I think I'll switch to Teddy Bs across the street or The Shack at their new location. It's the same price but better food...
Read moreWorst experience ever and embarrassing. I love Whataburger but the manager at this location is something else. I order Uber eats with my boyfriends app since we had Uber eats cash and instead of paying the $5.99 delivery fee we opted to pick it up because the APP allows it. I ordered my daughter a meal and we picked it up, they gave us the order and my daughter who was hungry started eating HER fries. The manager at this location told me what is your daughter doing and was looking at my daughter ugly. She practically yelled at me and asked me what my daughter was doing, as I proceed to order myself a drink , I told her "what?" She then accused my daughter of eating someone else's order. She said she eating the fries out of someone's order. I told her what do you mean. She said again she's eating the fries from that meal. I told her "That's my order. I ordered it from the app it gave me an option to pick it up". She embarrassed me again acting like I was lieing. I told her "do you need to see the app" I proceed to explain that it let you order and pick it up. And she was rude and said no it's okay and walked away. This was the manager and she should have checked the order or looked at what it said other than accusing and embarrassing me. 1) she should have checked the directives 2) she shouldn't have accused me in public the way she did and embarrass and accuse a 10 year old girl. My daughter started to cry and walk out. Never will I go to this...
Read moreThis was honestly one of the worst experiences we’ve had at Whataburger. We pulled up to the drive-thru and started placing our usual order: two meals and two large onion rings. My girlfriend got the Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich and asked to add lettuce on the sandwich. I got a double meat, double cheese burger with bacon—no tomato, sub mayo, and grilled onions.
Right away, the lady taking our order was rude. She wasn’t friendly at all and kept saying, “Anything else? Anything else?” like we were annoying her. When we pulled up to the window, she didn’t even greet us or cash us out. She just stood there taking drive-thru orders, not helping with drinks or anything. I get that people have bad days, but it’s not hard to be nice and do your job.
When we got the food, it just got worse. My girlfriend’s sandwich didn’t have the lettuce on it—it was put in a plastic cup. That’s not what we asked for. Then my burger had raw onions on it instead of grilled. I asked for grilled onions—not half-cooked, not steamed with water—grilled. It ruined the burger for me.
Lastly, when we got the drinks, the lids weren’t even on right. One of the sodas spilled all in the cup holder of the car. That just topped it off.
This is normally our go-to Whataburger, but this time it was really disappointing. I hope someone at this location sees this and actually tries...
