Wine 210 — Restaurant in San Antonio

Was excited to try but overall disappointed. Went on a thurs night and was told we could only order 2 flights per our table. Each of us wanted one so only 2 out of 3 of us could order it. It was supposed to come with a Malbec and wasn’t told they didn’t have it, they just substituted with a different type of wine. When I asked they said they were out of it but had a diff Malbec so I have no idea why they didn’t sub it with the other Malbec they did have. Then my friend that arrived 30 mins later got her charcuterie board before me and my friend did so when we asked, then they brought it out right away. Plus they were out of the pizzas. Then, they close at 9 so they start closing out our tabs around 830 and turning on the lights like at 850 so expect to be out of there before 9. Patty and Renata at the bar were awesome for suggesting the perfect glass of Malbec Red Wine to go with my Boudin and cheese egg rolls, and my Tempura Shrimp appetizer. They kept my soda and water glasses full, and they answered all my questions on my first visit.

Lovely place and nice ambiance. However, they were out of most everything that we asked for. We ordered two charcuterie boards of the same kind. The first was perfect, the second was missing items. The staff didn’t offer to tell us up front that these items weren’t available but brought out the board instead with the missing items and wanted to charge full price. Upon asking about the missing items or a discount we were then offered more of one item. When the item was brought to us the board was still significantly incomplete and expected to pay full price.
