Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in San Antonio

If I could give them negative stars I would and I really think google should allow negative stars. My fiancé ordered a pizza online tonight and the online thing said it would be 45-60 min to be delivered as we couldn’t do carry out. My fiancé left instructions for the driver to call us when en route to deliver as we drove across the street to get some coke and cash. Not only did the driver not call like he was told to he had already been sitting at our house for 9 min and texted saying he was leaving in 3. My fiancé got over to meet him leaving me at the store and when she got there she asked him why he couldn’t follow directions on calling and he decided she was rude and said he was going to refuse service. At that point my fiancé said she was standing by his car saying she had already paid for my pizza and he wouldn’t give her our pizza. She kept yelling at him to give her the pizza she had already paid for and he decided to leave anyway with our pizza. I called the store to talk with the night manager about it and he was all bent out of shape that I said a few curse words and then commenced to antagonize me even more by saying that’s why service to us were refused. Neither the driver or the manager had any customer service skills, plus they apparently never heard the saying “the customer is always right”, but they couldn’t apologize for not following instructions or for charging us and taking our food cuz their little snowflake feelings got hurt by a curse word like they’ve never heard one before. I will never buy papa johns pizza ever again because of this location and I would advise anyone considering ordering pizza here to not give your business to this location period. FREE BACON on EVERY PAPADILLA at THIS STORE ONLY!!

This store adds free bacon to almost every papadilla sandwich, even ones that should not have it and for customers who do not want nor request it. For me, that’s a bad thing bc I am not a big fan of bacon, it doesn’t go with the other items on my sandwich, it is unhealthy, and it’s an overpowering flavor. I’ve done everything I can, including to speaking to both managers, to try to make it stop, but it didn’t work. Incidentally, I order the buffalo grilled chicken every time, which should have chicken, cheese, and sauce. Sometimes I add green peppers or green chiles. NEVER have I requested bacon on anything I’ve ever ordered, yet over 50% of the many many items I’ve ordered have been loaded with it, and lately it has been every single time, ten sandwiches in a row. I am hoping that lots of people will order papadillas, and PJ’s will put free bacon on them as they always do mine, and since bacon is not cheap the profit margin will tank badly enough to get the attention of someone who might do something about it. So I ordered a couple of pizzas. The lady I spoke to was extremely polite and very helpful. After hanging up, I remembered a question I had about the peppers so I called back. This time, I find out latter, my call went straight to the store. My previous call was taken by a call center. The girl that answered was not at all as polite as the first. She was very rude and short. I got my question answered and hung up. Around midnight I called to see where my order was as it had been well over an hour to find the store closed. I waited a bit longer thinking it's still come. Then I checked my bank account to see they had drown the money out and about an hour later they put it back. Never bothered to call to let me make other arrangements. The manager I spoke to the next day. John. Said he would take care of the problem and said he would give me my order free.
