They have moist, juicy, smoky chicken served by the half or whole that comes with corn tortillas, roasted onion and jalapeño, rice, and red and green salsa. We got a whole chicken between two people and took home a breast and a thigh. They have other meats but it's a chicken place so get the chicken! We also got guac and charro beans. I judge chicken by whether I can eat the white meat without having to choke it down with a drink. Most of the time it is just too dry. Not the case here. The salsas had decent heat and flavor. The tortillas were soft, not too dry, and had a good texture which is what I look for in corn tortillas as some can feel like you are eating paper. The rice was flavorful and well cooked. Beans were decent but pretty standard and otherwise unremarkable. Service was excellent. Our meal came within 5 minutes and they were packed. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained with enough color and decoration to give it some character without being kitschy, quirky, or ostentatious. The ambience is still pretty basic though. I almost forgot to mention the prices which are very reasonable. The portions are sufficiently large too. Great value overall.
