Guess I should have come read the comments before visiting this place for the first time. That male worker that gets discussed a few times is probably the same person I encountered in my visit. Let me preface this with saying I totally understand when you are extremely busy efficiency is everything. BUT! When you are rude to your customers you should not be in a customer facing role. That is your number one priority is making sure your customers are happy or else they wonât come back and will tell their friends about their bad experience. I ordered online and went into the store for pickup. I wasnât aware it was acceptable to just take my bag and go. I thought I had to present my order number or tell them I was there for a pickup. I was standing in the pickup area where there is clearly a pickup sign. This male worker came in from giving a customer their order outside and proceeded to tell myself and another customer that the area we were in was a high traffic area and we need to get out of it. I said well this is the pickup area so where do we go? He didnât respond or look at me so I went around to the front where the other register was and another male worker was just standing there waiting for customers to come in and order food. He looked at me twice and then finally came over and he said name? I told him my name and he then pointed to the area I just got told to get out of and said pickups over there. I then asked to speak to a manager when a lady came over who said was the manager but who knows. I said this was my very first time in here and I didnât know what I had to do for pickup. I told her about the male employeeâs interaction with the customers was rude and then he said out loud after that OH COME ON! She just said oh well weâre really busy right now and asked for my name. I just went quiet after giving my name because companies that allow their employees to act that way in front of the customers clearly donât care. I will never give my money to pot belly ever again. And to think I gave these people a tip. Shame...
   Read moreI donât normally post reviews for places that I donât like but I felt like the people who worked there need to know how much their attitude affects their customers. So Iâll start from the beginning. No one greeted us when we walked in. And when we finally figured out where to order and got up there the lady making the beginning part of the sandwich didnât seem to want to be there much. Since we had never been there before we werenât sure how everything worked and it was like she expected us to know. Being so new I thought they would at-least ask âhave you ever eaten with us before?...no? Ok so this is how it works...â that would have been much more helpful. And when we told her what kind of sandwiches we wanted she would take the meat, out it on the scale, set it aside, then put the next one right back on the same scale without wiping it down or anything, I understand the meat is cooked but it still gave me an oogie feeling. Then after they got out of the oven the guy doing the âveggieâ side seemed super frazzled (I guess they were at the end of a rush or something) and he put my sandwich together (I got mayo on it) and after using the knife to close it he just through it right in the lettuce, mayo and all. Then he did the same for my husbands sandwich. No one that was working this afternoon seemed to want to be there, which I get I donât always WANT to be at work either but you slap a smile on your face and finish your shift. Had the customer service been better I would DEFINITELY be back to maybe try another sandwich but we wonât be back because of the experience as a whole. Iâm not going to tell people not to go but I will say donât expect much.

   Read moreOk, here is the straight story, I like this sandwich shop, the bread is very good, and I havenât been disappointed yet with the quality of their products! HOWEVER⌠the other night I went to eat and the place was a mess, the prep table where they build your sandwich was a mess, there toppings were all over the place and bad cross contamination, it looked like every topping had been spilt into all the other toppings, bad news if you have food allergies, I will say one employee did begin cleaning it while we were there but it was a mess and the cooler next to the register has a layer of dust on the top thatâs been there quite a while, it was very built up, as well as under the cooler as well hasnât been cleaned in along time. Even though the person helping us was pleasant, a piece of bread from my wifeâs sandwich broke off and fell into the cheese slices and no attempt was made to remove it. I will give this sandwich shop another chance but if I see what I saw this time again I will report them to the Health Dept.
