Went here on a Thursday night with friends visiting from out of town, six of us total.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. The bartender, Mark, saw us come in and deliberately ignored us. When we politely asked about the drink specials, he pointed at a sign without saying a word and turned his back on us.
We tried to get help from a female employee, hoping someone else might be more welcoming. She told us only Mark could help us. He acted like he was the boss, but clearly didn’t want to serve us. If he had taken a moment to check IDs, he would have seen that our guests were all active-duty military. Instead, we were met with attitude and indifference.
As someone who used to work in the service industry, I found this not just disappointing, but embarrassing, especially after recommending this place to our guests. When a tavern’s employees act like they don’t want you there, it’s a pretty clear sign not to come back. We won’t be.

I ordered my shots and was asked for identification for a friend and I. No problem...but it wasn't a good vibe. Got told my total, wasn't asked if I needed anything else...or wanted to keep a tab open (maybe they don't do that?) I said thankyou 3 times throughout the interaction and never heard a you're welcome or no problem. I'm in the service industry and it bums me out when someone can't provide simple steps of service that maybe would have taken 20 extra seconds. Short and sweet is okay too, I understand it gets busy.
