Dinner experience update: We came back for my son's birthday dinner on Tuesday night and we were seated promptly. Our waiter was Sergio and he was a good waiter. I had a Michelob Ultra and it was served well without too much foam and my son had the Mangonada margarita and said it rocked. We had the Queso Flameado as an appetizer and it was sooo good. My son had the Chimichanga dinner and said it was perfectly cooked and amazingly delicious. My daughter had two bean and cheese tacos and a chicken fajita taco and loved every bit of it. The refried beans are tasty and the cheese taste like mild cheddar/cheddar cheese. I had the Sarita's Combination Plate and it was good as well. The enchilada was made well. The picadillo taco could use more potatoes but it was very good. My husband had the Spinach Enchiladas and they were amazingly delicious. They're reminiscent of cannelloni. The only thing that would make them better is if they add chicken to them. I definitely will be ordering the Spinach Enchiladas and adding chicken next time we visit. Original review: Have visited a few times and have loved it very time. The wait staff are very friendly, intuitive and attentive. As for the food, the food here closely reminds me of food in Mexico and I love it. Only difference is they use mild cheddar cheese predominantly instead of e.g. white Oaxaca cheese. Not a negative though as a negative would be if they used gross cheese like American. Refried beans are delicious as well. The chips with the salsa taste fresh and are served hot. The meats taste delicious (beef, chicken fajitas, wings, etc.) It tastes as if they use Lawry's season salt and that makes for damn delicious flavor in cooking. I've had different drinks and they've all been delicious, but highly recommend their watermelon mojito, which is making my mouth water now thinking about it because when it was served to me it filled my nostrils with an aroma of delicious minty-sweetness, which added to the experience and presentation of the drink itself. Their sopapillas are the damn best we've had anywhere and the whipped cream served with it is an amazing touch. I truly hope business picks up at this restaurant and they make it in the long-run because it's damn good and deserving . I will update with photos soon. Please note: I don't have a photos because when I eat here and dig in so quickly, it's so damn good I forget to take photos.

Let’s taco ‘bout this place — because WOW! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and downright inviting. The music? Perfection. It’s at that magical volume where you can vibe with the tunes and have a conversation without feeling like you need a megaphone to chat with your table. The restrooms? Sparkling clean. (Honestly, who doesn’t appreciate that?) Now, let’s give a shout-out to our fabulous server, Elvia! Attentive, polite, and all-around delightful. She kept our chips and salsa flowing like a pro. Speaking of chips — they’re light, airy, and dangerously addictive. The salsa? It’s got just the right kick to remind you that life’s too short for bland food. And now, the main event: the food! The caldo de res was pure comfort in a bowl — rich, flavorful broth with loads of tender meat. It’s served piping hot with your choice of homemade corn or flour tortillas. (Spoiler: you’ll want both.) Then came the Mexican Hamburger — and let me tell you, it’s a beast. This burger is massive, juicy, and packed with more fresh meat than a prison yard! You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure. The Fideo Loco? Served with charro beans and seasoned to perfection. One bite, and you’ll wonder why you ever settled for boring noodles. And let’s not forget the cheese enchiladas — melty, well-seasoned, and bursting with flavor. They hit all the right notes. Long story short, this spot checks all the boxes: great food, great vibes, and a server like Elvia who makes you feel like family. We’ll be back for round two — and maybe even thirds!

Starting off, saying service was great. My server was really nice. She managed to bring everything. I asked for, however I was very disappointed. Seeing the menu, there is a sign outside of the restaurant that says lunch specials, Monday through Friday starting at $7:99 but when I looked at the menu only one plate was $7.99, and that is exactly what I ordered. It was huevos rancheros. The potatoes were a little overdue and burn to be exactly the flowers tortillas. Were chewy You Can Tell. They’re Not made freshly made, then I ordered taco de barbacoa and very surprising. It came with no onions and no cilantro. I understand if it’s not on the taco, but they always bring it on the side and when I asked for it, she mentioned it would be $.50 more for onions and cilantro. I said that’s fine! thinking lunch special was $7.99 I Was Thinking Maybe I at the most paying $15 in total, my ticket came up to almost $20 because the barbacoa taco was almost $6.00 it self, but it wasn’t a big size taco either just regular size. So overall the service was great. The food was OK, but the prices are terrible and not worth 🤷🏼‍♀️ Am I coming back? Don’t know

Arrived about 6:15 pm & was promptly seated and queried for my drink. A few minutes later the waitress Carol stopped by to see if I was ready to order. I asked for the Special Plate, 2 enchiladas with a crispy taco. Chips and salsa were also promptly delivered. Dinner was brought our fairly quickly, the plate was as piping hot as described. The enchiladas were very beefy and had great flavor. The taco was freshly crispy fried and had a good filling amount. The beans had great bacon flavor, too. But, for me, as good as the beef enchiladas were, the rice was THE BOMB!!! IDK if someone put a quart of minced garlic in it instead of a tablespoon, or if that's their usual recipe (I hope so!), but it was outstanding! No harsh garlic burn, but a prominent flavor - I LOVE IT!!!

Carol was an outstanding waitress. Business wasn't too heavy and there were empty tables, tho she stayed busy. It started pouring down rain really hard as I was finishing my meal. Carol stopped for a moment and said that I could sit and wait out the storm. I was ready to get home, so I declined. She even offered to walk out to my car with her umbrella! Granted, if it was busy, she wouldn't be able to offer, but she really made me feel like family. Great experience!

Below was from a year ago.

Had breakfast here yesterday morning. Seating was almost immediate, and it was only a minute or two until my waiter approached. He was very efficient and correctly took my order.

One of my favorite breakfast dishes is Huevos con Machacado a la Mexicano, so that's what I ordered.

It was served up quickly, steaming hot, with a good scoop of refritos & potatoes. The potatoes looked like they had been cut up in a French fry press - that's a good think because they were of uniform bite size, unlike almost every other Mexican restaurant where they chop the potatoes by hand. The plate was served with a small cup of green salsa. I asked my waiter for some red, also and he clarified that I wanted the chips salsa and not the ranchero sauce. It was promptly delivered. The corn tortillas were fresh and didn't fall apart when stuffed full.

Service was great. The waiter was all-business with a friendly smile. He checked on me 3 times while I ate, making sure everything was good. He also looked my way from other tables to see if I needed attention.

My first breakfast at this Saritas was delicious and delightful. I shall...

First off the waiter Angelina is her name could not hardly speak an ounce of English. Don't know why you don't have a bilingual person taking orders. Nonetheless it took forever to be able to place an order. The chips seemed old. I had asked for green salsa and she brings me a tiny little what look like a dipping cup with a spoon in it and some green salsa. I ended up ordering the chicken tortilla soup it was served to me about 1 to 2 minutes later and was lukewarm almost cold. There was one tiny sliver of avocado probably about 5% of an entire avocado. I asked for more avocado please and I was brought on a plate a rotted sliver of avocado I pointed that out to the server she came out with a tiny sliver of avocado that was actually fresh this time. I noticed that my bowl was served on a plate that looked like it had previously been spilled had a puddle a broth with lemons not limes which was weird because chicken tortilla soup normally comes with lime not lemon so I had to ask her to please bring me lime. The chicken was not shredded chicken it was chunks of chicken tasted more like chicken noodle soup. I took about 1 to 2 bites and decided not to eat it ask for my bill. My son who is with me add the cheese tortilla from the kid menu and that as well as cold I checked out the beans on his plate and they were cold as in room temperature. Strange experience. I won't be back. We had a much better experience at the one near Jackson Keller road or right around that area last time.... By the way this came to almost 23.00 on top of this the Sprite that my son had was bubble water she came out 5 minutes after that and told me that they did not have any Sprite left so I got my son apple juice which she brings out a bottle of apple juice and a cup. Lazy. Not only that I had witnessed the server two or three times going into the bar to chat with a patreon as well as other employees mind you this restaurant was really not busy and they already had a bartender in the bar. Ugh. I'm telling you I'm really not one to complain and if the food's good I'm not one to complain about service as long as the food's good and the service is reasonable but in this case everything was horrible. This was around 5:30 p.m. May 19th Sunday 2024. And if you're looking for booth seating there are none everything is hard chairs...
