Stout's pizza is awesome! I work with exchange students and reserved the large 12 top table for our end-of-year meeting. The manager was very helpful in making the reservation, and the staff was very nice to let me open a tab so my students could order their drinks at the counter as they arrived. The pizza was delicious with a nice crust, tasty sauce and some good, fresh ingredients. We ordered three of the largest pizzas and two orders of cheese bread with dipping sauce, and this was plenty to feed the group of 10. I found the prices to be very good: for the largest pizza (that my family of four could make a meal of) the prices were around $17 for a one topping and $22 for a more exotic pizza (the Greek veggie is SO good). There was a good selection of wine and beer, as well as tea, bottled beverages and fountain drinks. The decor is fresh, simplistic and contemporary. I will definitely bring a group here again. A bonus of the location was that the teens could all get dropped off, and we could walk together to the Northwoods Ice Center on the next block to ice skate after...

Customer Beware!

After being a loyal customer here for many years and steering friends their direction, we will not be going to Stout’s anymore.

The owners have decided that management has no power to refund or replace bad orders. In other words, if you order from Stouts and they undercook your pizza, there is no way to reconcile the problem.

We ordered two small pizzas that cost us $31. Both were doughy inside. We called the store and were told there was nothing they could do but we could report the bad pizza on our email receipt.

Who does that?

We did email from the receipt. No response.

I went into the store the next week to speak with a manager. He apologized but told me that the owners have taken the power to reconcile bad orders out of the managers’ hands.

Then, the manager took my name, email and number and told me that he would personally contact the owners. No response.

Wow. First restaurant that I have encountered in my whole life that will not stand by their cooking.

SO, you are gambling if you go here. If you don’t like your pizza or they mess it...

Not thrilled. My husband decided to treat me to a nice pizza place for my birthday. He went inside around 5:30pm, to order a pizza to go- The wine country pizza. Supposed to have fresh jalepenos and ranch on it, a favorite.

He sat and waited inside for 35+ minutes for the pizza. Turns out they forgot about our order. They went to the back and grabbed a pizza and said it got mixed up in another order. When we opened the box to check the pizza, We told them that this pizza was not ours. They insisted it was ours. We don’t have the right toppings. They wouldn’t fess up and make us our correct order, they just kept insisting we take this pizza. Don’t get me wrong. The pizza looks pretty in the picture. But this is an expensive pizza place. We paid $35, including tip, to be argued with and given a pizza that’s not ours. I hope this different pizza tastes good… because the customer service soured...

Well we have not been here since they opened back in the day. So we decided to give it another try. The food was good. It was tasty, fresh and hot. The kids enjoyed their pizza which kept well for left overs. My Greek salad was good. My hubs enjoyed his calzone. He liked his Cesar salad, but unfortunately about 1/3 of his salad the lettuce was not in the best condition and was not eaten. The kids loved the Star Wars pizza themed art on the walls. The cashier was pleasant and so was the rest of the staff. But unfortunately it took a long time to get our food. And we weren’t the only table that happened to. Every table recieved an apology for slowness that day, ours included. The restaurant was not even busy, just 3 tables were in use. Otherwise it was a fine lunch that tasted pretty good. Good for a family meal or a date for sure.

Came here on a Friday evening to try their pizza after many years since the last time. It was about half full, but there wasn't a line and there were plenty of tables. There's a small patio outside, but it was still too hot to eat outside. Ordered 2 small pizzas and a salad for sharing. Ordered the Avocado Salad, Stout Special, and the Wine Country pizzas. Salad came out within a few minutes, then the pizzas about 10 minutes afterwards. Pizza had a thin crip crust and looked great. The pizzas had similar ingredients, but tasted completely different. I personally preferred the Stout Special, but both were good. The medium was good for sharing and having some leftovers
