Worst service EVER! I have to give one start because: 1.- They told me that they don’t have breakfast, ok not that bad if we are in the middle of pandemic but at least provide us with a bag of snacks or croissants ready in a bag to go. 2.- I stayed for 9 days and my room never get cleaned at all! I call to the front desk and they told me that it will clean after 7 days but that never happens, they not control how many day you have been there, I guess is unusual to have customers for this long. 3.- I have to go to the front desk every other day for soap, shampoo, and conditioner. 4.- I have to ask every three days for towels at the front desk. 5- After four days I need it to do my laundry for me and my son and guess what? They only have one washer machine for at least 60 rooms and it was broken! I left and the washer machine never got fix! 6- I came to the front desk and grab a bottle of water and the lady told me “You know that’s almost $5 right?” But I never asked her for the price, it was an insult to me like I can’t afford that! 7- One night I just got back to the hotel and the same lady shout to my kid to wear a mask! He is only 10 years old and he have a condition and not able to wear one and that’s why we went to Texas to be outdoors where mask is not necessary. 8- After three days I had to start taking my own trash out because they will not clean the rooms. 9- My room was wood floor and from been outdoors all day the floor got dirty very easy and I had to cleaned by myself with paper towels and windex that I bought at the grocery store. 10-The hotel is next to the Highway so I asked for one at the other side of the building because it get noisy specially at the rush hour time. 11- The iron wall holder did brake too! 12- I ask about the gym and pool and they told me that I have to go to the gym across the street, I thought it was a joke and no, she were serious.
The only positive one: There was a young, skinny tall guy with glasses that was very polite all the time. He offered to pickup some pizza boxes and trash that I had from Christmas. For him I will give him 5 stars, everyone else 1 start. He was the only one knowing...
Read moreThe check in lady was awesome, probably the quickest check in I've ever had at a hotel, and she was very friendly, a Hispanic lady, don't know her name or i would mention her by name. The TV was decent quality. No bugs in the bed, but the pullout had crumbs on it from previous guests, they should probably check out the pullout between guests to check for this. Bed was comfy and TV was kind of in a strange location. Now the bad, hopefully upper management takes note of this review for this part because i think it's fairly easily fixable. The doors for the rooms SLAM shut and if you're not thinking about it, you'll let it slam behind you on accident. So all through the night, you hear all these doors up and down the hallway slamming because the walls are pretty thin as well. The need to put a rubber bumper or something in the door frames to keep these doors from being so loud when they close. I don't mind that they automatically close but the slamming all night long is unacceptable, especially for a Hyatt of any caliber, even this low end one. I'm not too upset because i used points for this stay and it's not a huge deal, it bothered my wife and babies more than it did me but you shouldn't have to be hearing doors slamming all night in a $100+ a night hotel. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, decent dining area, weak coffee but they do have real half and half which is way better than that sugary fake creamer, so props there. Shower was nice and clean, toilet was fine. Sink was decent, no microwave in the room, and they had soft water, which is what it is depending on what you prefer. The room we had also had a great little office area with a desk and lamp for the desk. Overall had a nice experience but they lose one star for the slamming doors and extremely thin walls and another one for the dirty pullout/AC making strange noises. (Room 122 management... Not sure what the deal was but when the fan turns off after the AC cycles, it'll keep making an annoying ticking noise even when it's off. Luckily it was cold when we stayed so we were able to just leave the fan on all night and that was like a white noise, so...
Read moreMy husband and I arranged to stay here as a "staycation" to escape the chaos of our little monsters/kids. I was in need of some serious relaxation and seen the hotel on Groupon. I purchased two nights because I knew the location and had been to the hotel a year prior. The check in was fast and the room appeared clean. Or so we thought. We go to our room for a nap and notice used, dirty face cloths in the bed. They were from a previous guest. I contacted the front desk and in the first phone call they said they would be right up. 20 minutes later the second phone call was placed to the front desk. They stated they would be there soon. An hour later my husband and I went to the front desk. We spoke with the manager on duty and he got the sheets changed in 5 minutes. Not amused. The day of checkout I receive the bill under the door. It had charges on it and this was completely to my surprise because as I stated in the beginning I paid with a Groupon, in full before arriving. My husband and I did not have any additional charges to the room beyond the Groupon. When we went to check out I asked about the charges, and the receptionist and the manager (a different one from the other day) told me it would be taken care of. But it hasnt been. I have contacted the hotel numerous times now, speaking with a manager by the name of Amber, trying to get this handled and refunded to my card. Today is the 4/29 and we stayed at the hotel on 4/18-4/20. No refund has been issued and I was told that I needed to just dispute it with my credit card company because they issued the refund but its held up in a "gray area" of their finances. Whhhaaaa??? I just want...
