Older lady who just served me at this location was bad at her job with customer interaction, I ordered a pizza, she put a handful of cheese on the pizza which I had mentioned was good enough & didn't need more, she was talking to her coworker & completely oblivious to her attention to detail & attention of customer interaction as i told her no more cheese she continued to put the rest of the 2nd handful of cheese onto the pizza. I also then ordered a slider, all that was put onto it was turkey & cheese, when I asked for veggie toppings she said she couldn't do that and wasn't able to which doesn't make sense because it's literally the same exact process that goes into effect when a sandwich is made! She said she could put the toppings into a bag which would just be a complete mess, i wanted to reject the slider but my fiancé had already completed our purchase so I just took it anyways with the rejection of actually wanting to. I had mentioned to her from this exact location I had an employee make me a slider before with toppings, she said that's probably why the young man got fired? Honestly it's sad to know the young guy got fired which i doubt was from that reason because he certainly always did a much better job with customer interactions then she had the experience of! I live not to far from this location so I visit quite frequently! I do not want someone like this making my food! I've never ever gone to another subway, had a slider made for me & had them reject the offer of putting toppings on which is ridiculous! Read moreI usually have a great experience at this Subway, in fact they are generally fast and that is why I stopped even though I only really had about 9 mins in my life to spare. I walked in at 251pm and was not out until 309pm, there was only one person in front of me that had been standing there for a while. She tried to order 2 sandwiches. The employee, I failed to get her name kept zoning out into space. The lady in front of me had to ask several times for what she wanted and I had to repeat myself 4 times. Finally another employee joined her and it moved along a bit. When we finally got to the register I asked for a large drink and 2 cookies...she zoned out into space again just holding onto the cup in the cup holder. She finally said something to the other employee who got my cookies after repeating AGAIN then I asked if the other lady was okay because she had never been like that before. The very attitude ridden (shift manager) said I scared the poor thing and that she has only been in our country for a month. So not only did I get the crappiest service in the slowest time possible (making me late for something) but now it was being blamed on me. When I asked for the store number I was told she didn't know and then was sarcastically told the manager would be in tomorrow. HORRIBLE! I guess Subway is off my list of the vast number of places I can go around here that have better service. Too bad they have great food but don't care about...
Read moreThis subway was the worst subway I have been to in San Antonio. I arrived around 6:00pm and waited for almost an hour for 4 sandwiches to be made. I left and returned later at 9:40 to order since I didn't the first time. We got our subs and sat down where the chairs were not picked up and right away the worker ran around the corner to tell us we could not sit in the dining area because he had just mopped. The open sign is still on the hours are until 10:30pm. We let him know we will enjoy our subs before we leave and the girl came from the back and said they closed at 9:30pm...how would you make my subs at 9:44pm and be closed? Not to mention they only had 2 breads on hand one of which the pan was left uncovered on the counter half way out into the dining room and was stale. The staff was so eager to leave and close out the store they forgot to put my cookies in the bag. Never again will I return to this subway because of the rude behavior and the urge for the customers to leave.
