This was the most horrible experience I have ever had a restaurant. I have been ordering pizza from Pizza Hut for over 40 yrs. Never have I or my parents been treated so badly. I ordered a pizza for my 84 year old parents for delivery and the pizza came cold and with little sauce. NOT a quality or a tasty pizza at all. My parents called to discuss the pizza that was delivered. The manager was RUDE and accepted no responsibility for the pizza not being well made and good. Blamed it on training staff. (However, when I called she said she had made it herself.) The manager then proceeded to say she was not going to replace the pizza or give her her money back. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT! My parents asked if they brought it back if she would put more sauce, she said no! And then she hung up on her! She was unwilling to rectify the situation at all. My parents would have been happy with more sauce.
What happened to the customer is always right? My parents were not after anything free. They just wanted the pizza they paid for. I guess at this place, you get what you get and your are just supposed to eat it and keep your mouth shut! Even though you chose to eat here and YOU are paying for it. Unbelievable!
My parents only wanted a pizza that was eatable and tasted good. For $27.00, I don't think this is too much to ask. This pizza had little sauce and not what they had experienced eating at Pizza Hut in the past. What is a pizza without sauce? Just cheese, veggies and bread! YUCK! I worked at several restaurant's and NEVER had a manager behave is such a horrible manner! She even went as far to tell my mom that I shouldn't have bought the pizza for them. How dare say that to her! That is none of her business who orders their meal! How dare she treat my mom in so badly!!!! My mom is 84 and I can buy her food anytime I choose too. I guess this place doesn't need our business . So we will no longer go there. Too many good pizza places in SA. Read moreI didn't receive my entire order in the first delivery and had to wait for the second part of my delivery. I called to speak to the manager who blamed the driver. I also asked how it would be rectified as this was poor customer service and a huge inconvenience to me to wait on the second part of my order (it was my companion's salad and I didn't want to eat my pizza in front of him so it was cold by the time the salad was delivered.) I was told by the manager at the Fredricksberg road location (Joel) that because I received all my food that he would do nothing to keep me a loyal customer to Pizza Hut. I will never darken your doors or order from you again and will suggest that no one does. I understand mistakes can be made but there should be some compensation for the fact that I didn't receive all of my order at once. I would have accepted a coupon or a credit but I was told I would get nothing because I received all my food. Joel also had an attitude from the start of the call then told me he would do nothing if i didn't stop yelling. I raised my voice because he had an attitude and seemed unwilling to keep me as a customer. The manger Shelby has a really bad attitude and stated she didn’t want to credit me bc it will be to much trouble for her but it was going to take another 1 hr to fix and swap my meal that they messed up on. I paid for a large three topping pizza with hut flavor crust and spicy garlic wings and we got plan crust and buffalo mid wings. (I have been ordering the spicy garlic in previous orders and know how it looks and smells, not what we got at all) THAT IS NOT WHAT WE PAID FOR SHELBY. I told her I can take pics and send it to her bc she said I could be lying about it. I Said there’s no reason to lie about food. She then said she will have to come herself and I told her then yea come and see for yourself and then she said no she wasn’t going to do it bc stupid lady knew then I wasn’t lying.
