I came in hungry and excited to try some local barbecue, hoping to discover a new go-to spot. I ordered the half chicken plate, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The chicken was on the dry side, and the barbecue sauce was a bit sweeter than I prefer. The rice didn’t have much seasoning, and the beans had a texture and taste that reminded me more of lentils.
That said, everyone has different tastes what didn’t work for me might be just right for someone else. I’m always rooting for local spots to shine, and I appreciate the effort that goes into running a BBQ kitchen. This just wasn’t the flavor profile I was expecting, but I hope others enjoy it...

Sausage was outstanding. Potato salad was excellent. Beans not a fan of will skip next time. The sauce on the side was fantastic. My spouse who normally does not like BBQ also loved it.
