I love taking my family out on My payday. I did some research and read reviews and found Molly’s Cafe. All good ratings that didn’t lie. I’m from Boston, Ma so this place took me back. Well, we parked in the small parking lot in the back to get easy access to door lol and walked through the back door not knowing to seat ourselves. No sign. Anyways we got a booth and it was so comphy. Server had just cleaned the table and was cleaning others. She was busy but friendly. Well we were excited because I said all good things about it, my 9 year old is a picky eater so she had questions. And Dad/hubby was like it’s all on you. So the menu was full of just good things to eat all at once, I was so confused I wanted all of it. A minute later the server gets our drinks, it was 11am so we got 2 Orange juices(don’t know price) 1 strawberry lemonade with real strawberries.(4.50) So the orange juice isn’t pulp free so my picky fam sent it back and got 1 reg lemonade(don’t know price) and 1 strawberry lemonade with real strawberries.(4.50) So we enjoyed the TVs and all the stuff to look at. It’s so cool in there and clean. So food ordering time... I wanted a combo with French toast ham and home fries but it didn’t exist so I had to order it separate. Server had already taken the menu so I had no clue on price and didn’t care to ask or to look. I was hungry. We were hungry. Anyways my 9 year old got 2 Pancakes(I should of got 1) with a side of bacon because there’s no combo with bacon. And hubby got a combo with French toast bacon and eggs.(don’t know price) OMG. It was so freakinnngg Bomb we didn’t talk to one another for the first 3 miniutes then all of a sudden the sounds start coming out. Best French toast I’ve had in years, juicy thick well cooked ham, cooked to perfection home fries. Huge pancakes thick and big pieces of bacon. We all couldn’t finish but took it home. Bill was $45 plus tax. Total was$49 I paid $55 including tax. I felt bad but it didn’t feel like a gourmet style breakfast. Server was slammed and barley spoke to us. Diner style always has deals with people waiting in line to eat. This is diner style 100%. Only 1 combo special on white board. There should be at least 5. We will be back but we will split a meal just to save money. I guess you really get what...
Read moreIf there was a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in San Bernardino this would be it! We got great food portions and the service was very nice as well. The bathrooms and everything seemed pretty clean and the decor and vibe of the restaurant might be a little outdated for some people's taste but I think that's a contributing factor to it's charm and what makes this place soo unique in San Bernardino, in addition to the quality of the food. In short, I wasn't expecting this great of experience and was a bit concerned with the area that it is in. But when you walk in there is a very welcoming environment and you get to sit where you want. We ordered the chorizo and eggs platter, the homemade corned beef hash platter, the French toast platter and the Chicken fried steak platter. All the food turned out to be delicious 🤤 no complaints! 👍 Two notes, the corned beef does not look like it came out of a can like in most places, and the gravy on the chicken fried steak had little bits of sausage in it which was real good 😊All in all, Satisfied and...
Read moreLunch at Molly’s Café felt like stepping into a jukebox and being served by the nicest people in town. It’s got that classic 50s diner vibe — records on the wall, vintage posters, and the kind of energy that makes you want to call everyone “doll” and “buddy.”
I had the classic club sandwich with fries and an iced tea — crispy, fresh, and perfectly satisfying. Moses went sweet with the French toast special and coffee, and he didn’t say much while eating… which says everything.
The service? Quick and friendly, like they’ve known us for years. And we couldn’t leave without splitting a cinnamon roll — warm, gooey, and possibly the real reason Elvis shook his hips.
Delicious food, cozy vibes, and retro charm — Molly’s Café is the real deal. We’ll definitely be back (and next time, we’re bringing...
