Went to Jack’s tonight for dinner with my wife and son. I’ve passed by this establishment many times and finally had a chance to visit. So glad that we did. I would recommend setting up a reservation since they appear to stay pretty busy although when we arrived they were able to handle walk ins it seemed. Anyway, nice place - not to loud with a full bar and several big screens. The dinner menu had variety and the food was presented nicely and came out hot. I had the Chicken Picatta with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes. Great taste and made really well. It came with soup or salad. I selected the salad and it was a nice portion size. My son had spaghetti and meatballs. It was a large plate of food that he said was very good. My wife had their meatloaf served over mashed potatoes and topped with 3 crispy onion rings. Her meal started with a cup of Lentil & Bacon soup. She really liked her meal. I forgot to mention that they brought fresh warm sourdough to the table to start off and our server (I forgot her name though) was awesome. All of their servers seemed very attentive and ours did a great job. Nice place to visit if you are hungry and want good food.

Came here for my daughter's bday. We were supposed to go to BJs but they were a disaster so we had to find someplace last minute. We called Jack's and they quoted us for a party of 5 with a wait time of 5 to 10 minutes. We drove across the street and walked in and they immediately sat us without the wait. Service responded quickly to us got our drinks, appetizers, and dinner way faster than we expected. The atmosphere was really nice. And my husband and I enjoyed looking at the pictures of the family that owns the restaurant chain. My husband said he enjoyed his steak and I think we will for sure come back here again in the near future. I didn't get to take pictures of anything else because we were so hungry from waiting at bjs for over 45 minutes. By the way parking here can be difficult. It's crazy busy here even considering that we went on a Wednesday and not a weekend, it was still packed. We got lucky because when we pulled in a family was leaving.

Seriously, they have the best food and service here! Today I tried the Code Bleu burger which was charbroiled to a perfect medium, and it was juicy, savory, and brightened with Bleu Cheese and a rich bbq sauce, and topped with bacon, a large crispy onion ring, fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes and a pickle. It was probably the tastiest burger I've ever eaten! Oh, and the sweet potato fries were slightly crispy and sweet, and so good! They also came with Chipotle mayo but didn't need it. We also ordered the French Dip, which was generously stuffed with thinly sliced top sirloin and came with savory au jus and crispy fries. We've tried several entrées here, and everything we've eaten was always delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant for the excellent food, comfortable ambiance, and top-notch service!

Ruined my special date for my man on his special day!!! I was sorely disappointed 😔. My special night for choosing Jack’s RUINED my special moment for my boyfriend’s birthday... What a flop! I slipped a green note 📝 for our waiter to gather some buddies to sing happy birthday 🎂 to my amazing man didn’t happen. Especially when a couple tables over from got their waiter to sing happy birthday to that person. I really felt that they ruined my special plans. I surely DON’T WANT TO RETURN to Jack’s. I’m definitely steering my friends away from Jack’s in San Bruno. You think 🤔 for a $100 special date night ($80 for the meal & $20 cash tip), that you could get a simple request like doing Happy Birthday 🎊... Heck NO!

This is a great place to either sit at the bar or in the main dining area. Great happy hour selection. Try the calamari, sliders and lamb meatballs to start. Then order a side car lol or your favorite drink. The polenta is very large in size and full of flavor. The staff us very nice and sociable. I say check it out.
