The restaurant sits on a corner right across from The Artichoke Casino. I ordered the special on Fridays, the Pozole, chips and salsa are served when you take a seat, once the Pozole arrived I noticed that it was a bit warm, I like my food hot, the Pozole was served with sliced cabbage, onions, radishes and lime along two of the house tostadas and a bottle of house hot sauce, I only tried a few drops of the salsa that had that Ghost Pepper feeling to it…the heat stays with you even after 10/15 minutes pass by all around your palate. The broth was flavorful and included plenty of hominy, the pork chunks were pretty good. The service ladies did a great job taking care of the customers. I will definitely return when in the area next...

We were visiting friends and decided to eat here. Its a great little gem. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable and the sever was great. The food didnt take long at all. The place was clean and not too loud. I noticed quite a bit of locals here which is always a good thing. I dont know about parking as we took a Waymo here. I had the enchiladas with green sauce with an extra taco. My wife had the really big burrito. I was able to eat all mine, which was the perfect amount and my wife had to take half the burrito home. Overall well worth a visit of you like no...

I usually get few tacos to go and I know pretty well the price. However, this time the male owner ring me up and he saw I have a ten dollars bill in hand, he told me without using the register "ten dollar", I told him I known the price, it should be eight dollars instead! He tried to scam me, plus he is not using the register, so the 10% sales tax goes into his pocket! I have been tonthis joint more than ten times, was always happy with female casier. The owner can't be price trusted image what he will do with the quality...

The food was good. Not much for the price. They took forever to attend me and my fiancé. Then it took a really long time for our food to be ready. They instead helped a table of like 10 that got there after us and got served before us. Then they messed up on my order and the waitress that was helping us argued with me when I told her the plate she brought was not the right plate. Then I still got charged full price for her mistake. Horrible service here. I expected better from this place. Not coming back. Not worth it.

Atmosphere is not that appealing but thats because the food is pretty damn amazing. A hidden gem right up historic San Mateo Ave. Sits on the corner right behind the Casino which towers over all the smaller shops. Service was very accommodating and food comes out sizzling hot with super cold beer on display near the cashier area. 2 pacíficos, guacamole and chips and 3 asada tacos later, I left happy, content, and already wanting to come back.
