My family and I have been Carrabbas customer for over 18 years. Attending the Naples Carrabbas previously managed by Barbara, and the Boca Raton Carrabbas by Victoria. We always get to know the staff and the management, always treated exceptionally. We moved to the Estero region about a year ago, and each time we visit this Carrabbas it's disappointing. But Sunday's visit was by far the WORST. We are a party of four, our waitress Kylie, was very distracted throughout our time there. Two families were seated after we had ordered our salad / drinks and they received their soup and salads before we did. We kindly asked another waitress if our salads would be coming out soon. She went and informed Kylie of our question, turns out she completely forgot to bring us our salads. She then comes over and jokingly says " I promise you guys they're making your salads right now".... okay no worries....... our salad arrives, and so does the soup. The soup was flat our cold. No smoke coming out of the soup, and had no warmth to it. ---- Okay no biggie, maybe it's the kitchen.... we waited over 20 minutes for our food to arrive, by then our drinks were already low and we received no refills. (side note: we ordered sparkling water, she dropped off the bottle and left us with no bottle opener to open the bottle we managed - but still lack of attention. typically this is something the waiter / waitress does and pours the drink also.) I had ordered a medium well sirloin marsala. I got an over cooked steak burnt on the outside, and no marsala sauce. I asked her for it and she never brought it out. My father ordered the Chicken Parmesan the chicken was over cooked and the pasta was hard. We spoke to the manager there not to ask for any favors, but to inform him that as a customer for over 18 years we have never experienced such poor customer service. Mind you Our waitress half the time was no where to be seen. The manager instead of taking this as valuable feedback just discounted half of the chicken parm dish. We weren't looking for a discount, we were looking to effectively communicate that the service that was being provided was not at all up to par with how it should be. The manager not once returned to our table to apologize for the bad experience. At then end we were still charged for the marsala sauce that mind you never arrived. I've worked in the restaurant industry before and the type of customer service that was provided was not ok at all, and it seemed like the manager just wasn't concerned. Maybe it was a bad day and Kylie or waitress was off, that would be easier to believe. Hard to do that when she was giggling and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Carrabba's, and I must commend the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Matt. Despite the challenges posed by our large group of unruly grandparents, Matt handled the situation with impeccable grace and professionalism.
From the moment we were seated, Matt exhibited a remarkable level of attentiveness and patience. He skillfully managed our group's diverse preferences and dietary restrictions, ensuring that each member felt valued and accommodated. Despite the chaos that often accompanies such gatherings, Matt remained composed and focused on delivering top-notch service.
Not only did Matt excel in managing our group dynamics, but he also demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience exceeded expectations. His genuine warmth and friendly demeanor further enhanced our meal, making us feel welcomed and appreciated throughout our time at Carrabba's.
In addition to his exceptional customer service skills, Matt's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our dining experience. From promptly refilling drinks to anticipating our needs before we even had to ask, he consistently went above and beyond to ensure that our evening was enjoyable and memorable.
Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of Matt's professionalism, grace under pressure, and dedication to providing exceptional service. Read moreThis Carabbas is amazing, right down to the ambiance, music, lighting and the vibe in the dining room. We came after 8pm on a Friday night and the service did not miss a beat. Our server Corey was top notch with incredible pacing, polite and friendly service. Corey never missed a beat as he treated our table like it was the only one in the room, literally. We started with stuffed mushrooms, which were decedent, over stuffed with a sausage stuffing, basking in a creamy tomato red/white sauce with small chunks of tomato’s - to die for, Amazing and cooked to perfection. We both had side salads tossed with the creamy Parmesan and garnished with Kalamata olives and banana peppers which was served chilled and super fresh. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with angel hair with portions plentiful enough to take home. The fresh baked bread and olive oil infused with spices for dipping, amaaaaazzzzing! I had the house white wine, perfectly paired. We finished off with desert compliments of the owner, who came by for us to personally provide our feedback. The Sogno dessert was decadent with a flood of texture/flavor with shaved chocolate, brownies, whipped cream and chocolate sauce! This dessert is must for sharing and just excellent! We will be back for our occasional Carabba fix, this place is a must on your seasonal or weekly dining rotation and it will not...
