When we were seated at the high top by the window I went to move the stools next to where I was going to sit so I can climb onto my stool easier. There was something really sticky all over the backs and seats of the stools. My stool had garbage in the seat. When Jackie, our server, came by, I showed her the stools and my seat and asked if we could have somebody wipe them down. She came back with a wet cloth and dabbed over the really nasty messy chairs and left my seat soaking wet. She did not bring any dry towels to dry my seat with. I had already been standing there for a few minutes before I got her attention so I just decided to grab a chair from another table and switch them out. My husband and grandson hat to sit across the table in cleaner chairs. Jackie wasn't very friendly, NEVER smiled, and attitude verged on rude. She clearly didn't want to be there, let alone have to wait on people. I would give her points because she did have some chocolate milk mixed up for my grandson. once she delivered the food she never came back. She never checked back and we were lacking in a couple of items that we would have liked to have had with/for our meals. When we finished, we waited for over 10 minutes for her to show up again, but she never did. We ended up having to get up from the table ourselves and seek out to-go containers. HORRIBLE service. My Cuban sandwich was really good. It could have used more mustard (couldn't ask our server- she was AWOL). The fried pork tenderloin instead of pulled pork was a game changer! Hubby's fish and chips were delicious! For a lunch special at $7.99, it was huge. The fish pieces were nice sized, thick, tender on the inside and crunchy in the outside. The kid's cheeseburger was nice sized and the portion of fries was good. Constructive criticism... #All chairs and tables should be checked before opening for cleanliness. The two chairs and part of my chair looked as if they'd been doused in a sticky syrup and left to dry. #When washing the tables, the crumbs should be scooped off into a plate, tub, or something. -Not slapped all over into the seats of the chairs. #Servers don't have to act as if they're thrilled to be there but at least they should be friendly and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEverything youād expect from a sports bar. I actually had a hamburger that was really good and the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer were also good. However, the hamburger was done incorrectly and they brought me french fries instead of onion rings. The french fries they brought were ice cold, so I had to wait for the onion rings to be cooked. They came out after I was done with the burger. My son ordered a plain hamburger with broccoli. They brought him a cheeseburger and no broccoli. I was completely done with my meal before they brought my sonās meal back. My server never apologized and didnāt come back to make sure everything was good after things were finally brought. After all of the mistakes, you would think that she might take something off of the bill, that also didnāt happen. That just tells me that a manager was not notified because they absolutely would have taken off the mozzarella sticks or something. I will be back but this wasnāt a good reflection of what I know they have done in the past. Iām only editing this because the Restaurant wrote back. That alone just gained you another star. Iām not looking for anything free or anything discounted in the future. So thereās no need to reach out directly. It just wouldāve been nice in the moment if the server had contacted a manager who then couldāve checked on the meal directly. This is also why I have deleted the serverās name. Just a great training opportunity for everyone involved. Weāre not splitting the atom here, or having a meal and watching sports. It doesnāt have to be more complicated than that. Thank you for...
