Rush Inn Bar and Grille Estero — Restaurant in San Carlos Park

I was excited to find a new restaurant in the area. The menu is quite extensive with many options for those who need a variety. The atmosphere is good with an open to the outside bar area and outdoor seating (we didn’t use because it was too windy). I didn’t see a cover but doesn’t mean there isn’t a retractable one? Service was also just ok. One of our servers was really nice, but we had more than one and the second was not so pleasant nor did he know how to handle our questions about the food we received which didn’t seem quite right. He just walked away while we were talking! The food, unfortunately, was a bust! The “naked wings” were definitely coated in some type of breading and were not wings, but strips of dry, meatless, fast food like chicken pieces. The small salad, which was $11, was about the size of a cup of individual to-go cereal. Needless to say, I couldn’t even consider more than a 1 star, and that was required. I tried twice to get my order right and just gave up. We ended up going to another local restaurant to actually get food. I know this place is new, and we love to support our local restaurants, but...

Sat at table with my family. There were a lot of flies wich made it difficult for us all to stomach eating our meals and drinks. They have a neat looking bar area with two large ‘garage doors’ they had opened to the outside, hence the flies. My vegetable stir fry was just ok nothing to write home about. My husband liked his patty melt. When the food came to the table the food runners/servers just auctioned the food off by calling out what it was out loud so I’m assuming they don’t adhere to seat numbers on the printed tickets that the server sends to the kitchen to be expedited properly. A bottle of wine was ordered and they didn’t have wine chillers there so instead they used a large plastic blue bucket. My mother-in-law’s cod sandwich was a tad over cooked. Our server Linda was very sweet and super attentive although she royally mixed up all the items on all our separate checks. It happens we understand. As a large family we probably won’t be back to dine that way. But I could see sitting at the bar in the winter to watch a football...

Wanted to provide feedback of my family's recent, which was also the first time visiting your restaurant.

The server was friendly, we got our drink order and food order in, my wife ordered a grilled chicken wrap, no tomatoes.

Food comes out, visible tomatoes. We asked to get it fixed. Within 2 minutes it comes back out, no visible tomatoes (I could tell it was not remade from scratch), but after 2 bites, again, there are several tomatoes in each half of the wrap.

At this point (5:30 ish) there are more customers than servers, which is fine, but the employees are gathered in a group talking. Our server never came back to check on us about the wrap and after waiting 15 minutes, I walked up to the group and told our server about the tomatoes and asked for the check. She apologized, pulled out a 15% off coupon, but I declined the offer.
