I went to Delizie a few weeks ago for a company dinner. I love the convenience of the location as it was walking distance from work. It was a quiet Monday evening so the restaurant wasn't crowded which was good in having dinner conversations. The interior had a rustic vibe made up of a combination of brick walls and simple table settings within the modern structure. It was a clean and comfortable atmosphere. My favorite part of the decor were the movie posters from iconic movies like the Godfather. The waiter(s) took our orders quickly and brought our food swiftly. We ordered calamari, salami, prosciutto and salad and it was so fresh! The dinner portions were perfect as many of us ordered pasta, stew and fish. They also have vegetarian options. Everyone cleaned off their plates! Since everything was so delicious, we had to order desserts which also was amazing also. And no authentic Italian dinner is complete without after dinner drinks. The waiter brought out digestivo from Calabria which almost everyone at the table drank and enjoyed. We ended the evening with decaf coffees and espressos. The highlight of the evening was when the owner (Francesco) stopped by the table to say hi and was introduced to our party. Needless to say, Delizie made it a special evening and a great way to start the...
Read moreMy husband, Nick, and I have been here a couple of times, and we have ordered from here through DoorDash. Let me start by staying that we are both 1st generation 100% Italian's.. We were both brought up in Italian speaking households with our Nonna's cooking for us every night (and our fathers both owning authentic Italian restaurants).. So, believe me when I say WE KNOW GREAT AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD. This place is the REAL DEAL!! My husband can't stop talking about the "Pappardelle al cinghiale", and For me The "tortelloni con asparagi".. Both of these dishes= INCREDIBLE!!! And the best part is, they give you plenty of food so you're nice and full!! Nick loves his homemade pasta with wild boar.. He says it takes him back to Salerno, Italy... My dish, the way the asparagus melts in your mouth, and pairs perfectly with the creamy red sauce and cheesy tortelloni... Tastes just like something my Calabrese grandma used to make. The desserts are all unbelievable, too. The best part about this place though, the owner, FRANCESCO! Nick and I felt so at home. We felt like we were hanging out with a cousin. He's great and he deserves to do well! Check this place out of you haven't yet! I'm telling you, it's insanely delicious!! Delizie = Delicious!! --Stephanie &...
Read moreOn Saturday night, I had the pleasure of dining here with a group of 12 friends, many of whom, like myself, hail from Italy. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance transported us back to our homeland.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish we tried was a delightful reminder of the genuine Italian flavors we grew up with. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were rich, and the presentation was impeccable.
What truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service delivered by Giuseppe and Francesco. The whole staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel incredibly welcome. They understood our longing for a taste of home and went above and beyond to ensure our evening was special.
I can confidently say that Delizie Cucina & Vino is a gem. It's a place where Italians living abroad can find a piece of home and where others can experience the true essence of Italian dining. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic...
