Disclaimer: I've only had their glazed donuts because those are the only donuts I enjoy. Therefore my review is solely on those glazed donuts.
Haven't been able to make it to Kelly's for over a year but I was bringing a good friend some birthday cookies and I take the same freeway exit to get to her house and to Kelly's Donuts. So of course I had to get some donuts even though I had just made 2 batches of plain sugar cookies the day before. Even though I have access to great donuts that's only 2 miles from my home and I go there pretty regularly, I still have to get donuts from Kelly's anytime I pass by. Why is that? It's because she makes the absolutely fluffiest and lightest donuts I've ever found, and I've tested a lot of donuts from lots of different places. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and their prices are even better than from my regular...
Read moreWe vacationed in CA this Christmas season and stayed at my husband's grandparents home near this little donut shop. Although the strip mall was under construction the shop was open. Don't be misled by not being able to see the signs or the door! Search for it because these donuts and croissants are delicious! We walked there and ordered a jalapeno cheese croissant, a polish sausage and cheese croissant, a dozen donut holes, an old fashioned donut and a chocolate frosted donut. All of the items were superb, but the favorites were the donut holes (12 for a dollar!) and the polish sausage and cheese croissant. If you order one of their hot items they will actually make it for you upon ordering, so expect a small delay. The staff were friendly and the place was decent though a bit unorganized. I look forward to visiting on our next...

And the food is pricey. I got 2 breakfast sandwiches, and 2 glazed twists, and the total came out to $28. And the sandwiches were beyond dry, and the bacon in the sandwhich was hard. My friend’s mouth hurt a little bit because of how hard he had to chew on the bacon. Ive been to other donut shops, that do not charge this much at all for sandwiches, and the sandwiches are more , and cost maybe $7.. not $11 something for each sandwhich. I hope if I visit next time, that the food is...
