Taqueria Luna — Restaurant in San Clemente

Guys, I’m not even exaggerating when I say that this is the absolute greatest Mexican food I’ve ever had in San Clemente. I don’t even leave reviews. I was EXCITED when sol agave came here. I was EXCITED when south of nicks came here. I was EXCITED when asada came here. This is the best taqueria in south county item for item. Salsa for salsa. We have been lacking hardcore waiting for a taqueria like this place in SC. I tried their beans, rice, salsa, guacamole, California burrito, Taquitos etc. This place is it. Came to visit San Clemente from out of town. Me and my husband were exploring downtown and briefly stopped by the cute ally way between the restaurant. We stopped to sit down because we had a reservation next door not thinking of anything of it. The best breakfast burrito in San Clemente, without question, is the Cali Breakfast Burrito. It has the perfect mix of eggs, cheese, bacon, and potatoes. Both salsas are also delicious — the orange one has some kick. We also are fans of the Huevos a la Mexicana (eggs scrambled with tomato, onion, and jalapeño, served with rice, beans, and tortillas).
