Areli's Taco Shop Pacific Beach — Restaurant in San Diego

Ortiz #2 is the best take out taco shop in town. They have slowly but surely surpassed riggs and cotijas (the other two within a few blocks) with their quality and consistency. The prices are super low, they should charge more but they don't. I don't even get beef tacos anywhere else in town except here, I didn't even like them anywhere before Ortiz. They're too good. Many of my friends have stopped getting regular latenight Mexican food solely because Ortiz isn't open latenight during the week (yet). We shift our entire life schedules to make it before they close. Now we double down before 11 during the week. Everything is good here that I've tried, and they have a lot of menu items you don't see at most taco shops. I would typically get the beef taco (bc they're the best there, both the meat and the shell), a bean and cheese burrito (fundamentalist mf movement), and sometimes the carne asada quesadilla which has the meat to cheese and tortilla ratio that you WISH carne asada burritos had. Some kind of magical sauce is in the carne asada quesadilla that just puts it over the top, too, but it's a bit messy to eat sometimes so I usually take that bad boy home so I can really get...

We had a ceviche tostada, which was decent. It had way more tomato and onion than it did shrimp. It wasn't bad but our expectations were higher due to the 4.5 star rating. The other item we had was the fish burrito. The burrito was just not good. We've had fish burritos all over San Diego for the past 20 years. We know a good one from a bad one and this one was not good. The breading on the fish was very thick and not at all light and crispy. The fish itself seemed like it may have been previously frozen. It definitely wasn't fresh. There was a lot of tartar sauce or something similar inside. Not like the sauce you would normally taste. Horrible service. First, I ordered three rolled tacos and they gave me two which I found out after I got home. And they overcharged me by $4 to my credit card account which I also found out at home. Then, I checked the receipt, and they gave me the receipt for someone else for a different total from what I was charged. I called the store and was told there's nothing they can do. Now, I can't dispute the charge either with the credit card company because they want the receipt for what I was charged and the restaurant won't do anything to...
