It was decent. I ordered grilled cheese with bacon and sweet potatoe fries, my husband ordered the cobb burger with truffle fries. We also ordered beer mac n cheese to share ( it comes topped with extra cheese and bacon) had 4 beers total, went with what our waitress recommended (since they don't have corona or modelo) and ordered steak for my dog. HONEST REVIEW: Pros: waiters/waitresses are nice and once you walk in they seat you fast and get your orders in right away. Dogs are allowed and they have food for dogs too such as chicken or steak. They offer water for dogs as well (you might have to ask for water tho). Prices for the food and drinks were not super expensive. Food was also in large portions and tasted pretty good. Cons: it gets BUSY here and it might take a while for one of the waiter/tresses to come back to your table. We weren't offered water for our pup until the very end of our meal and by then I had already given my dog water from my cup (which became his cup), beer took a long time to get served to our table but it is because the bar is crowded inside. The check also took a long time to get to my table, we ended up going to ask for it and for boxes after 15-20 mins of waiting. Seems like they are attentive when you first get their but once you get your food they kinda forget about you lol. Our table was piled up with dishes and we didn't have room on our table, no one took our dishes away. 3/5 probably will go...
Read moreAs a dedicated Lions fan living in San Diego, I couldn't be happier that The TapRoom has become the go-to spot for our local Lions Den. It's always a challenge to find a place that not only welcomes out-of-town fans but also provides a true game-day experience. The TapRoom, however, has exceeded all my expectations.
First and foremost, the amount of seating available is impressive. Whether you're arriving solo or with a group of fellow fans, there's ample space for everyone to spread out comfortably. On top of that, the number of TVs scattered throughout the venue ensures that no one misses a moment of the action. The picture quality is sharp, and the sound system is top-notch, making it easy to feel completely immersed in the game.
While the game-watching experience is crucial, the food and service at The TapRoom deserve their own recognition. I tried the breakfast dish during my visit, and it was not only delicious but also served in generous portions. It’s the perfect way to fuel up for an intense morning of football. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of.
Given the amazing atmosphere, great food, and exceptional service, I know I'll be coming back for many more games this season. The TapRoom has truly become a home away from home for...
Read moreThe burger with mushrooms is amazingly mouthwatering. Customer service is impeccable. My ONLY critique is the pizza and some cheese. Not sure what was wrong: the combination of ingredients, the dough, or cheese. After just the first bite I did not think this was a good recipe at all for a pizza. I could feel my stomach turning. My friend decided to take it home and it eat, and unfortunately he had stomach issues after. On a different day I had a delicious chicken salad, and I didn’t like the cheese that was put into the salad. I can’t really ping it, but I would recommend getting rid of that stinky smelling cheese or think about new pizza recipes. Hope you find my constructive feedback valuable.
Edit 7/26: Thank you so much for the reply. And I'm so humbled to know that you took time to ask me and clarify. The pizza was Tomato Basil, if I recall it had the tomatoes on top, and no tomato sauce. And it was Cobb Salad with delicious chicken, awesome onions and everything else, except the cheese. For the cobb salad, likely, it was a personal taste rather than the ingredient (although that could be the same for the pizza). I just know that something didn't work with that specific pizza and couldn't figure it out. Looking forward to trying something new here. ...
