Read moreMy girlfriend and I had a horrible experience here and will probably never come back because of the supervisor Karen. We went for dinner and right when we walked inside we overheard the employees saying they were out of bread. Whatever no big deal, they had enough to make a half sandwich so I got that and a bowl of soup and my girlfriend got soup and a salad. When the food came out I noticed that my soup was barely lukewarm, bordering on cold. My girlfriend offers to take it up front to see if they could warm it. She walks up front and asks the supervisor Karen if they could warm the soup because it was cold and Karen barked, “I can’t make the soup any hotter than it already is, plus I can feel that the bowl is warm so are you just looking for a refund?” My girlfriend looks at me bewildered and I say that I didn’t realize it was that big of a deal for her to be so rude. Karen lost control and became belligerent. I asked for a refund since the meal was already ruined at this point and she refused to give us one unless we gave her our receipt which we were never given. She finally had to find the gentleman that rang us up to find the last transaction on the register to process the refund. We left in shock at what had just happened. Everyone around was embarrassed....

After convincing my girlfriend to give this place another shot, I placed a call-in order so I could run in and pick it up since we were pressed for time. As I arrived, I walked up to the to-go counter and was greeted by an employee who confirmed my order which was ready to go on the counter. She took my credit card and tried to charge it but the register was down so she walked over to the other counter where a heavy set manager was taking orders. The manager explained she was taking an order and that I would have to wait. After staring at my food on the counter for about 5 minutes, I walked back over to the manager and asked how long I would have to wait because I really needed to go. She told me she was too busy and that others are waiting in line to get their orders taken so I would need to wait. There were over 10 people in line waiting. I told her the whole reason I called it in was so that I could pick it up and go. She continued to tell me that other customers were there first and I need to wait. At that point I walked about because I didn’t have time to argue since I had an appointment to make.
I can’t believe this person is a manager. Even the other employees were baffled as to why she wouldn’t just take 30 seconds to charge my card so I could get going. With such horrible customer service and lack of common sense, I doubt I’ll go back any time...
