Luna Grill Clairemont — Restaurant in San Diego

I have come here for years but today is last day. I ordered well ahead of time and as I stood in the restaurant waiting for my order people who were ordering way after me walking up and walking in and ordering when I had ordered on the phone we're all getting their food and so I asked is mine almost done and the one behold there was a bag that had been sitting near the register only never told me I asked him how long that had been sitting there and they tried to say it was one minute but I knew that was a lie when I looked inside the bag it was not what I had ordered it was not inclusive of everything I had ordered and I had to wait again and be late at this point it's almost 40 minutes there was no apology they didn't care whatsoever that's the worst attitude ever I've never seen anybody act that way they're always usually just such a great place but I'm never going back because when I got back to my office and I opened up my food which looked like somebody had scraped it off of somebody's plate off of the patio dining and it was supposed to be chicken kabobs it was two pieces were actually regular size the others were just these hard really hard burnt things you could use for ammo it was so sick and almost threw up and I had called asking to speak to the manager and was put on hold two times for a long periods of time and then somebody gets on the phone and says that the manager tells me to call back the higher up manager is there I guess later in the evening and they were just incredibly rude but mostly when I opened the food and saw what was inside there you know these maybe four pieces of chicken just plain chicken by themselves and two of them were really small almost completely burnt like as if they were charcoal and super hard it was just so sick...

We usually love Luna Grill we used to go to the one in Mission Valley was really good great service great everything so figured we moved over to this area this one would also be the same ….wrong!!!! The food was not very good everything was dry The bread and meat both and No Tzatziki sauce…, I did call to speak to the manager because no one liked their food we spent $60 which we don’t mind if it’s good food…. The manager said they no longer give the containers of the tzatziki sauce on the side unless you specifically ask them for it or ask for extra (which when you’re ordering online does not say anything about that ,it actually shows a little containers of sauce ) and Now they put it on your food for you ,so basically arguing with me that Tzatziki sauce was on for food even though none of us could taste it or see it on our food ….regardless at that point he could obviously tell wasn’t happy with the food at all , but he didn’t care he just kept insisting they gave us Taziki sauce he says “they already put it inside the wraps “… long story short we will just never go back to that location again if we even ever go back to Luna Grill….just horrible food and horrible service was our first experience at this specific …Now when we want Greek food We’ll just Drive a little further and be going back over to Dino’s Greek food on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard!!! Their food is always delicious and amazing and they have no problem giving yout enough Taziki sauce haha oh and they have ,incredible...

This is a review for May, Manager of Clairemont Location. I am a regular customer (I LOVE their Bistro Beef Kabob Plates! 🤤, and so many other dishes that are just too darn good 😋), and also a DeliverThat Delivery Driver for all Luna Grill Locations throughout the entire San Diego County Area. I had the pleasure of working with May on several pickups of their large order catering deliveries. She is always on point and on top of everything, always, 1000%. Orders are always on-time and ready to go. And on rare occasions that they are not, she would communicate honestly and straight-forward how much longer it would take and/or if there were any other issues. Every single pickup is smooth as butter when May is there. Everything is always nicely packaged and prepared. Nice and ready. May knows what she’s doing that’s for sure. May & her Team gets the job done. Again, I deliver for all the Luna Grill Locations throughout the county, and I must say, May & her Team (and of course how she manages the restaurant and her team members also to get the job done), knows what they’re doing. She leads by example by far as compared to the several other Luna Grill locations. May should be cloned! 😊 Looking forward to seeing you again soon, May! 😎
