I always wanted to stop at this beauty because who doesn't love parisian style everything? Well, today I had the chance to go for lunch with my best friend, and we were so excited to check it out, but we were welcome by this super rude girl/lady at the front desk. She had an attitude since the beginning and of course my friend and I have a Mexican accent to which she asked us to repeat things 2 or 3 times because she couldn't understand us and although it is understandable because we do have an accent she was visibly getting annoyed by it which made us feel uncomfortable. Also, latte is not even an american word, which was one of the words she asked me like 3 times to repeat which I thought it was ridiculous and then proceeded to say "oh, latteeeeee" with a Californian accent. She was also upset we asked if we could have a napkin or something to clean up one of the outdoor tables that was completely smeared with food and she did it with arrogance and of course only cleaned like half of the table. I feel so dumb we even left her a tip trying not to be rude but she was clearly annoyed by our presence because we did absolutely nothing wrong and treated her with the respect we wished she would've had with us as well. I'm still not discouraged by this and will try their Northpark location, hoping they have more welcoming...

I was looking for a breakfast place and this looked great online. I called in for a mobile order and ordered my two items and confirmed with the person on the line that my ordered was correct. They said it would be ready in 15-20min. I showed up in 20 min and stood in line to pay and collect my order. While I’m line I noticed a bag sitting in the place where they had take out orders without any name. When I paid I asked how long for my order to be ready and they said it was being made because they saw it being prepared. I then waited another 15 min for the same person to pick the bag that I saw with no name up on the counter that they said was not mine and hand it to me. The person over the counter was very curt and rude when I said they were missing an item. I had called this in and expected someone that works there to know what they are selling. I would expect that they would let me know that they don’t serve the item anymore. Could have told me over the phone but rather decided to not make one order and expected me to make a decision after waiting and paying. The crepe that I receive was average and not worth the money! Don’t go here their costumer service was terrible!!!! Don’t order ahead from here they don’t know...

This is truly a wonderful little spot.

I have been here several times without an issue and unfortunately a friend and I did this last Saturday when we waited over 40 minutes for two paninis. However, after going back and inquiring about why the food was taking so long, they shared how the till receipt ran out and some one forgot to change it hence the lateness of the food as they never had the ticket! When they found out about this, the food took only a few minutes and they were kind enough to refund half of the order.

Apart from being a over priced for what they offer, everything is always rather delicious and it's atmosphere is wonderful. I personally dislike the coffee, I haven't ever had a good one from there and with similar prices with other local specialty coffee shops I wouldn't recommend it at all and go somewhere else around the corner.

Three stars for being over priced and bad coffee. But wonderful food and great atmosphere. Accidents happen during rushes such as my own experience last Saturday. But overall I would recommend the food. A great spot for a little place in...

Unfortunately, the customer service here was the complete opposite of North Park. This café was where I went first once I landed back in San Diego and I was looking forward to the same atmosphere as the one in North Park but sadly it is just pretty disappointing. From the start, their cashier had stinky eyes, made you look stupid, asked me rude questions. Poorly trained. I cant even ask a question without her making me feel uncomfortable. This is only my second time but the first at the other branch definitely raised the standard. Asked for the rose vanilla latte to be made like a frappucino, she said it was possible.. got a macchiato instead. Adding to the disappointment they do not serve the benedict unlike North Park. Had to find this out by asking the ungrateful cashier. Ordered a sandwich and it took more than 20 mins. It didn’t taste special or memorable. Even the ambience is awkward. The tables are so close to each other, you can hear everyone’s conversations. The view isn’t exactly nice either… Overall a negative first experience.

Cute neighborhood place to visit on sunny days. There are only 5 or 6 indoor tables so best to come when it’s nice out so you can also sit outdoors (there are many more outdoor seats). If it rains, best to order to-go or you’ll wait forever for an indoor table to open up. You come here for the vibe and to catch up with a friend. Their crepes are tasty enough. The Lemon was simple and light. The Pear was tasty as they add their pastry crème to the filling, which is light and not too sweet. You won’t find a drink menu with prices, at least I couldn’t find it online or at the cafe. Coffee was good (one size only) but more costly than I expected. I ordered an oatmilk mocha (8oz). For reference, mocha is $6.90 + $0.95 for oatmilk. Alternative milk for $0.95 extra * Almond * Coconut * Oat * Soy

We stopped here because we were in the area and I don’t think I’ve ever tried a “French Restaurant”. The atmosphere is very nice, very France inspired of course. The outdoor seating was limited but decent. Pretty much tucked to the side of the building on the sidewalk and in front, but dog friendly. My Nutella crepe was great but I should have gotten bananas in it. Now that I’m writing this I’m really beating myself up over those bananas. My wife got a Tomato Mozzarella Panini and LOVED it. She just kept talking about this stupid panini the entire trip… I couldn’t even go an hour without her bringing it up. Anyway, the service was excellent and I will definitely be coming back here. If I didn’t my wife would kill me.
