This Panda Express location is run by an extremely rude manager. Manager Deborah had an extremely aggressive attitude. She got frustrated as I was looking to the ordering options, and when I asked a Kung Pao chicken she served me with a different dish. After I said I wanted a Kung Pao Chicken, she packed the wrong bowl away with rude manner and, instead of apologizing for her own mistake, she made comments with other employees "she doesn't even know what she wants" and served me a tiny bowl, filling it with less than half food of the one she originally made by mistake. When I asked other employees to talk to a manager, I was very surprised to hear she was the manager, which I could have probably guessed as she was the only one not wearing professional clothes but her own personal clothes. I am surprised to see how the most unprofessional and rude person of the whole location is made manager. Complete lack of personal and customer service skills. Nothing to complain about the food which is like a other Panda Express locations, but this...
Read morePretty disappointing encounter at this Panda Express. I’ve been to panda multiple times so I thought it would be a good place to get an affordable meal at the airport and their food is usually good. I got the plate with honey sesame chicken and their signature orange chicken with a side of Chow mein and was shocked at how bland the sesame chicken tasted, it didn’t really have any sauce or seasoning on it and I felt like I was just eating breaded chicken. I was also only given 3 pieces of chicken so it felt as though I only got one entree. The chow menu… it tasted stale and it was cut so short I couldn’t even get it to stay on my fork. I was hoping the orange chicken would make up for this catastrophe but the sauce was so thick and it tasted nothing like the usual dish, maybe they are experimenting with the sauce or they are just not properly training people in the kitchen, it’s not hard to scoop food into a bowl. Luckily I won’t be back in the San Diego airport...
Read moreMy partner and I ordered the orange chicken and kung pao chicken and we both had food poisoning the next day after flying home. We also shared a soft drink (Pepsi with ice). A couple sips we couldn’t even finish it because of how flat it was and the ice tasted odd. I don’t think I could ever eat at Panda Express ever again since I’m traumatized and so sick atm with a fever, cold chills, and constant need to go to the bathroom… They need a food inspection because either the ice/soda machine hasn’t been regularly cleaned or the quality of chicken isn’t handled well. Who’s knows, please don’t be the next victim no matter how enticing the orange chicken...
