Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Diego

Just had the weirdest thing happen here. I politely asked for an order of fries to be replaced because the ones I was given were cold and had been sitting a bit. I get it, it’s late. However, the man at the counter (Hispanic male with a women neck tattoo) proceeded to ask why I wanted new ones. I answered , politely and he followed with a disbelieving glare and I jokingly said you can try one to see for your self. He did exactly that. Right at the counter, this man reached in to my bag of fries and ate fries that had been returned and touched and then very aggressively stated that “they tasted fine to him”, The worst part about this isn’t even the exceptional rudeness I was met with for no reason at all but more the fact that he took food out of a used bag , ate from it right at the counter and then proceeded to keep touching food and prepping other orders and never even bothered to wash his hands. It’s pretty disgusting actually. Not sure if you’re aware of how much a health code violation that was. So strange, confusing...

I was at the airport late for a red eye flight, I’ve been up working since 3am & was extremely tired & couldn’t wait to get into the plane to have some sleep. I was hungry & I arrived late to the airport. My gate was next to this Jack in the Box. I wanted to fill my empty stomach with something so it won’t disturb my sleep. I approached them & they were turning the lights off & a nice lady named “Aumpty” or this is how she pronounced it said ma’am we’re closed, I said “ahh I’m hungry” she looked at me & said” we’ll, I’ll make something...what do you want?” I said anything fast, she re-opened & made me fast delicious chicken nuggets in 2 fast minutes, although the I felt guilty for eating the nuggets but she was a very nice end for a long tiring day. I placed my order there at the kiosk and went to retrieve my bags from baggage claims (5min) came back and Eric who said he is also the owner of the franchise there said he had given it away already with someone who had the receipt. I had a picture of my receipt for expense reporting and couldn't find my paper receipt at the moment he was telling me he gave my meal to someone else that presented him the paper receipt. I walked away and took another look in my pockets and found it in my jacket. Returned back requested to speak to Eric again and let him know he was the liar.
