The food is good, the service is terrible. I ordered today and the lady was extremely rude. I’ve been to Thai food before and it’s pretty authentic, but it was missing something. I ordered drunken noodles and something was really sour. The wontons were good, but it’s hard to mess those up because it’s just cream cheese and Batter pretty much.
As far as the service, I would not recommend whoever worked with me today. She was extremely rude and snooty and gave me attitude because I wanted to pay cash instead of card. I hope you never have to pay cash when you come in here so you don’t get the same treatment. Two lady that work today, try to treat people nicer.
Lastly, I do feel the prices were a bit high for the food and the flavor that I received. Not really impressed with the location or the decorations, it’s a bit much and they should dial it down. Parking in the shopping center is not very fun if you’re going at lunch or dinner time. Overall, I give this a three star rating and I think that’s being generous for one extra star, considering the food had a very bitter sour taste to it and drunken noodles does not taste like that. Thankfully, the wonton saved it. Next Door, there’s a pizza place in a Greek place, I recommend expanding your horizon Instead of feeling regret for ordering...
Read moreI’ve been here over 100 times ! Don’t get me wrong the food is good well I only eat fried rice although this one is my favorite so far . Stove never reviewed bad or good because it’s my go to ether way . The food is fresh sometimes it taste like way it should sometimes it doesn’t . Ether way this has to be the rudest restaurant I have ever ate at and I eat out everyday !! They started w: a forceful 18% tip mandate service then for some reason it was removed . Mind you it’s not a large restaurant. It’s a restaurant with a seating of about 15 people and service is regular service order your food you get it and then you’re checked out. Sometimes I tip because the service was great and the food was as expected. Sometimes I prefer not to because it would have been the same as takeout or maybe I didn’t receive the service. Either way I have never been chased down for a tip. this is the third time this restaurant has did this although when they are tipped they do not say thank you they are always tipped over $10, this pass day the lady continues to come outside to ask for a tip. It’s kind of embarrassing not only discrimination. I will no longer be eating in here. It’s just a couple of Thai cultured people who have Mexican cooking in the back and are making money off...
Read moreCorner Thai took over the previous Thai establishment and I actually like this place better. Their menu is huge! Mainly Thai dishes with a mix of Lao, Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. We came for dinner and a few days later came for lunch during 11-3pm. They also have happy hour from 3:30-6. Has patio seating and 6 tables inside.
We’ve ordered: -curry puffs -mixed tempura -orange chicken -pad Thai (spice level 5) -crab fried rice (spice level 7) -Panang curry -garlic wings -beef pad see ew lunch (spice level 7) -combo drunken noodles lunch (level 7)
Pad Thai and crab fried rice are always our go to when it’s our first time dining. Both dishes had great flavors but too wet, almost soggy. Great crab portions. We took it home and dried it out a bit and it tasted excellent.
The lunch special came with a side of soup of the day, salad, egg roll and cream cheese wonton. Great portions.
Overall, Corner Thai was decent except the wings had a smell to it like freezer burn fried in oil. The flavor and texture also lacking.
Spice level 7 seems to be the right mark for me giving that kick at the end where you could still taste...
