I arrived here in the last hour of business on a Saturday night (4/13), so it was a little busy. I was still helped quickly, and the staff was friendly. I will say, the parking situation is a bit of a nightmare as the lot is small and the businesses all seem busy. That being said, if you have to park nearby and walk over, it's definitely worth the effort.
My partner and I got cookies 'n cream and vanilla (soft serve? gelato? I don't recall) respectively, with Nutella and strawberry jam taiyakis. After just a few minutes of waiting, the (maybe) owner of the shop came over and gave us 2 free taiyakis, as ours had to be made and we would have to wait. We were given custard and Ube filled, and the custard was some of the best I've ever had. My partner enjoyed the Ube flavor, which is interesting as he does not normally try new things.
We got our orders after just a few more minutes. They call you over for toppings (no extra charge!). The Nutella and strawberry filled taiyakis were both incredible. I also ordered a blueberry mochi donut to go and ate it the next day. It was delicious and not too sweet, and a delightful airy texture. I wish I had gotten one of each flavor!
I'll definitely be attempting to find a similar shop in...

The inside is a small little shop but due to the size, it accumulates the smell of fried mochi. And it smells delicious. The place smells very sweet. Unfortunately I did not try them but the menu showed 1 for $3, 6 for $16 or 12 for $30. Maybe next time.
I bought a Large honeydew Smoothie with boba and it was enough for two people after a meal.
The smoothie was delicious though you have to fight the cup to move your straw. Can be annoying.
The taste of the honey dew was sweet and as you might expect. Iv had the flavor as tea elsewhere and don't recall liking it. But Gelabong's was great.
They have many, many other flavors.
It's also a nice to place to stop at and chill while sipping. The large cost about $6. They also have cuts that look like transparent soda cans!
The place has very bright pastel blue...
