Overall, this was a deeply disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share.
I placed a mobile order through the official McDonald’s app and arrived at the store to pick it up at the front counter. The app showed that my order was already being prepared and marked as completed shortly after I arrived. However, I ended up waiting at the counter for nearly an hour after the order was shown as completed. In total, from placing the order to finally receiving my food, the process took approximately an hour and a half — an extremely unreasonable wait time for a fast-food experience.
During this entire time, I approached the counter and asked staff about my order at least ten times. Unfortunately, my inquiries were repeatedly ignored, with no updates, explanations, or even basic acknowledgment. It felt as though I was invisible, despite standing in plain view and asking politely.
What made the situation more troubling was what I observed around me. Several customers, particularly Spanish-speaking individuals, arrived after me and received their orders much earlier. While I understand that order preparation times can vary, the consistent pattern of later customers being served first — while my inquiries were disregarded — raised serious concerns about fairness and service consistency.
As an Asian customer, I left the store feeling excluded and disrespected. It is difficult not to question whether my treatment was influenced by unconscious bias or lack of consideration. I do not make this accusation lightly, but the experience left a lasting impression of being treated as less important.
McDonald’s has always been a brand I trusted — a place I could go for a quick meal and a familiar experience. But this incident has severely shaken that trust. I truly hope this was an isolated incident and not reflective of how certain customers are consistently treated.
I urge store management to seriously review this situation, including how mobile orders are managed, how staff communicate with customers, and whether everyone is being treated with the same respect regardless of background or language. Better training and attention to equitable service would go a long way toward restoring confidence...

Read moreMy friend and I came here to order food, kinda late at night. We try to order, and the person taking our order is sighing at us and making it super difficult. But thankfully we're able to order (their mcflurry machine is broken btw). Then we get to the window and she has us wait on the side while they bring us our food. LOL ok I guess that's necessary, whatever. Then she brings us our food, no greeting, no smile, just gives it to us and books it. Btw, they didn't smile or ever once act friendly. Then we get back to our house, and they forgot half my order. Wow okay I'm thinking, did this really have to happen. I've come to expect this kind of service from this place, but seriously? So anyway, I end up feeling really hungry, and I decide to go back. I explain the situation, and they look at me very confused and talk in Spanish to each other. Then she calls to the girl who had handled my order. She takes a while to come over. They continue to talk in Spanish while I'm waiting. And then when she shows up, she looks at me confused, and says something about "I don't need an order right". I asks if she remembers me from 5 minutes ago. She says no. Then I tell her, really?? You had us park on the side and you brought us a frappe and coke - OOHH the Frappe and coke. And then she says something in Spanish to her co-workers , and then walks away. A few minutes later, her other co worker drops the small bag off to me without even looking my way, and then she's gone. So yeah, I'm a nice guy, I won't ever yell at someone to their face or blow up on people, but the whole experience left me feeling pretty upset. Pretty sad that Mcdonalds is like this now. Anyways, I drove out of that driveway, and then sat down and wrote this review. I also told myself that I'm never eating at...
