We were a party of 6 going to Panini for early dinner around 4:30 pm. There were two other table of two beside us. There were 3 waitresses on the job and a couple of other workers at the counter chatting. One would think they should be able to handle three tables with no issues. At first, not all of our soups were served at the same time. One had to wait a long time to get hers while others almost finished. Then main course was served for only four of us and we were waiting for a good 10minutes until upon asking, the waitress said she is going to look into it and a few minutes later came back with the order. She still forgot to bring extra plate and butter as it was part of the original order. Request for additional napkin was ignored, request for a glass of water was forgotten, and cream and sugar for the coffee was forgotten as well. Not sure what would they do if they had more customers! Overall, very poor customer service. The food was not great either and noting like the other Panini restaurants. I will not return and do not recommend this...
ย ย ย Read moreEating in this restaurant I developed severe food poisoning and ended up in the hospital for 2 days. My wife took me to this Panini Kabob for dinner on my birthday on May 18. Anticipating that dinner, I didn't eat anything that day. I ordered a chicken kabob which they claimed was ABF, meaning antibiotic free. 2 hours after eating, I started having stomach upset which developed into severe nausea and diarrhea. We had to call 911 and I was taken to emergency room by paramedics at 4 am. My condition was diagnosed as food poisoning and I was admitted to hospital for intense treatment. My wife called the restaurant to let them know. The person on the phone was just argumentative rather than caring. My wife asked for a call back from a manager and that request was totally ignored. I had never had such food poisoning in my life. I have no doubt it was caused by that chicken. I would never go back to Panini Kabob and I'm telling everyone to stay...
ย ย ย Read moreUpdate: I went back to eat the same dish I liked so much last week. Unfortunately, today the hummus and salad dressing had way too much raw garlic, something I don't like and easily taste. I'm sure it's ok for some people, but I regret that it was so good last week and today I couldn't eat any of it. The more disappointing aspect was that I offered the waiter feedback for the chef, given that the food was so different today. The waiter's response was: 'there's no garlic in the dressing', basically discounting my feedback. It seems obvious that this restaurant does not train its employees. A simple "I'm sorry" would have have been appreciated.
If you don't like overpowering raw garlic taste in your food, avoid this place. I will not be going back.
Last week's review: Excellent chicken wrap with strawberry and dates salad. ...
