What happened to the fresh bread? The bread used used have a few simple ingredients (milk, eggs flour, butter) but is now filled with preservatives and an ingredient list a mile long. It appears they are no longer making fresh bread and their bread now tastes very different and nowhere near as good as it used to be. Also did they change ownership? What happened to the sweet potato cakes (very popular amongst Asian customers)? Did non Asian owners take over? New employees are not well trained. I ordered a sandwich, asked for it toasted and it was cold in the middle. I went back and asked him to retoast. He struggled handling the sandwich because he wasn't wearing gloves and was trying to use a small plastic sheet to handle the food instead. I could see him touching the food with his hand (he was handling money just a few minutes before). I suggested he put gloves on so he finally did but I should not have had to ask. My sandwich was still cold in the middle after the 2nd toast and I was grossed out by the food handling (especially during covid) so I ended up throwing it away. I used to come once a week to buy fresh bread and but I now have to go to Tous Les Jours. Their cakes and pastries but still better but I'm sad they no longer have my favorite...
Read moreZero stars. I have been coming this location for over many years but todayâs cashier whose name is John T, his rude attitude was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.
First of all I have never seen a cashier who started to open and drink an energy drink when you have a customer in front of you.
He gave me his extremely rude attitude when I took a little bit of time to look up my apps for my birthday rewards. When I asked the blueberry cake for slice and he was just continue to yelling â which one!!? which one!!â That is not necessarily loud voice to customer.
I was looking for the manager about this rude guy but one of the staff said no supervisor at that moment.
No wonder he can drink his energy drink in front of the customers with his bad attitude. No professional training to employees whatâs so ever. Bad management.
Your customer service is very poor like this and you would lose a lot...
Read moreCronuts are all the rage and this one does a pretty decent one, but keep in mind I've never tried the original in New York. Their cornuts are flaky and tender. I got the coffee one which was pretty good, but needed a stronger coffee taste. We also got the vanilla cronut, some pineapple tart, and a strawberry tart. We took everything back home to enjoy with coffee.
I find it interesting they limit the quantity you can buy, there was a sign that says 6 per flavor. The reason why I came here is my co-worker brings me some from San Jose, usually their cheese bun which are darn good. He told me usually the cronuts sell out so seeing them here made me want to try it.
If you decide to come here often, get their rewards card. Not exactly sure how it works,...
