We placed an order online for 3 sandwiches (2 of which were the same sandwich) and a tub of tuna before noon, when we went to go pick them up at 12:45, nothing in order was prepared. Only a single a person was preparing food at the time and was clearly overwhelmed, but there was only one person in front of us and I couldnāt understand how none of our very simple order had even been started yet. After repeating verbatim what we had ordered to the woman behind the counter, she then kept giving me the wrong sandwiches? After waiting more than 15 minutes and hearing several times that the sandwiches were almost ready, we could take it no more and left to find food elsewhere. After driving away we received a phone call telling us that the order WAS in fact all prepared when we left and it had all just been a misunderstanding. They asked us to come back to get the sandwiches. Once we did, the order STILL WAS NOT READY. We continued to wait another 10 minutes. When the order was finally given to us it had been over an hour and a half wait, and to make matters worse, the order was WRONG. Once again this was an online order where we physically checked boxes for things like NO MAYO or NO MUSTARD or NO ONIONS etc, not an over the phone order so there was really no room for confusion as it is written right there in the order. While the actual meats and cheeses and toppings were of good quality, we had to rip the sandwiches apart and eat what we could because those of us who donāt eat mayo found our sandwiches smothered in obscene amounts of mayonnaise. We tried to be as polite as possible and Give the staff the benefit of the doubt, but itās one thing to have a simply order take over an hour and a half to be ready, to continually promise the order was ready then continue to give us the wrong sandwiches, and then to finally give us the right sandwiches but prepared so incorrectly it looks like they barely looked at the order at all. Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDefinitely need to get this off of my chest ASAP, so I can forget about it and be rid of the negative energy of this place.
This place is 100% TOXIC & should be boycotted by any decent human being. I went in and purchased an item earlier this evening that I desperately "needed", but I will not be returning.
As I walked in, there was a conversation going on between a man in front of the counter (presumably a customer... it looked like he was just "hanging out") and two store staff behind the counter. The conversation was on the topic of "illegals" (btw, #nohumanbeingisillegal #nohumanisillegal) and how it should be "open season" on them. Yes, "open season", as in hunting & killing human beings. One of the guys behind the counter, who actually worked the register and did my own transaction, agreed with the statement, and said that is what his uncle in Arizona actually does... he hunts immigrants that are crossing the Mexican border, and shoots them. Yes, this actually happened, inside Park Blvd Food, and it was an actual employee who worked the register who made this statement. I was the only other customer in the store, and it didn't phase any one of them when I walked in... they kept on with their vile hate speech, perhaps thinking I wouldn't mind, because I am a white man. They thought very wrong.
The other employee, who was making sandwiches at the time, began to loudly preach, "if you're going to use our social services, and not pay taxes, then get the f* out of our Country."
As I approached the counter, there was a tip jar, with a few dollar bills in it, that read, "for every dollar you [put in here], Justin Bieber gets punched in the face."
I couldn't make this up. This is a sick, toxic, establishment, that I've patronized once, and never will I again.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy best friend has lived near this spot for years, and weāve always ordered the same sandwich: the Park Boulevard. Itās an incredibly delicious choice, but during our most recent visit, we decided to switch things up. He opted for the Sherry's Special, which looked fantasticāand he confirmed it tasted just as good as it appeared. As a transplant from the East Coast now living in San Diego, I couldnāt resist trying the Torpedo. Let me just say, the Park Boulevard may need to wait because Iāll be sticking with the Torpedo for a while. This sandwich was everything Iāve been missing from the classic, ingredient-packed sandwich shops I often reminisce about from back home.
Beyond the incredible food, the staff here truly elevate the experience. Every visit begins with a warm, friendly greeting, and the service is consistently excellent. Whether youāre a regular or trying the place for the first time, youāre treated like family. This spot has mastered not only the art of crafting delicious sandwiches but also making every customer...
