A great place to dine. Our first time at this great little place. Family friendly and cozy. The crew here was not only efficient and skilled, they were funny. They made the meal a night to remember. My wife had the spicy ramen and loved it! We had a variety of rolls (5) and the sushi (sashimi) sampler. My daughter has eaten sushi all over Asia and pronounced this as good as she has had anywhere. The veg was fresh and crisp, the rice a perfect temperature. The tuna, whether spicy or not, was plump and plentiful. The rolls were tight and hefty. There was plenty of spice and heat used appropriately. They included a small cucumber salad and flowers with greens to adorn the board and it was perfect. We shared a small carafe of hot sake. Delicious! For about a hundred bucks the three of us could not finish it. And we really tried! We had a good meals worth to take home. For my money I have paid a lot more for a lot less. I figure a date night would cost forty bucks and be impressive. Worth the time and money. I'll go back whenever I can.

The location has its own parking lot which is very convinent. The restaurant was very clean and we got seat very quick considering how busy the place was. This is a very popular eatery. The sushi tasted fresh and everything was made as soon as you ordered. The seafood didn't have that frozen seafood taste. The presentation of the sushi rolls was phenomenal! Definately recommend for a date dinner kind of place! Great value in pricing for sushi. Also they offer an "All you can Eat" sushi menu if you have the stomach space for it. Overall, clean, convivent, delicious and above all; a great experiance!! Totally recommended!

RK Sushi is on my top 5 favorite sushi restaurants in SD. My friends & I stumbled upon this place many years ago while waiting for our table at sushi deli. We decided to give this place a shot & we were not disappointed. The service is awesome. They go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Their rolls are creative, fresh, and delicious. On this occasion we ordered the washington, which is baked. The sexy which is fresh and the ocean which is fried. We also ordered the fried gyozas and garlic edamame, both are tasty! Try RK if you are in the neighborhood, you will be happy you did.

The place is empty for a reason. We walked past the Sushi Deli just a block away and it was packed, so we came here to RK Sushi because it was empty. What a bad idea that was…

The wine was disgusting and old, white wine and plum wine don’t get better by sitting out open and getting oxygen. It was old funky wine gone bad and they refused to fix it…

The flies in there won’t leave you alone. The must love tue smell of bad fish, which you can smell yourself from the front door as you walk in. The flies have clearly taken over the place and built a home in their. Bad stinky fish is like a dumpster of paradise for those flies. We had to leave early because of this…

The service is horrible and the digital menu doesn’t give details, so, you are left with no waiter to answer questions, and a menu that doesn’t inform you…

They have an “all you can eat” option that has more Rules and Regulations and Stipulations than the American Government. And it’s a “limited menu” which means “all you can eat of our fish that’s gone bad and the flies don’t want”… oh, and all sorts of threats about what happens to you if you don’t clean your plate. It will make you feel young again… and abused by your parents for not cleaning your plate…

What a stressful menu ordering process and selection process having to click all over the place to “see what’s included” in the “all you can eat” limited chaos process.

The chairs and tables are cheap, uncomfortable, and stacked closely to other tables. No wonder nobody goes here anymore. Awful experience. Nothing worse than listening to somebody else’s conversation about how bad their food is.

High prices, bad atmosphere, uncomfortable, stinky, gross… No wonder the place was empty. We gave up before we puked and we left.

We went to Sushi Deli and enjoyed way too much food for a lot less money. It’s a full restaurant too. Booths, cool atmosphere, good food, way better prices, and service just...

Energetic atmosphere and fantastic sushi.

The first thing I love about this place is that it plays loud, current music. If you don't like loud and energetic atmospheres you may not enjoy this place but, in my opinion, THIS is what sushi places have been missing. From the moment you walk up to the moment you step out, you'll be bumping along to the beat of some wicked music.

The second thing I love about this place is the people. Nobody goes to a sushi restaurant for the service. It usually sucks. While the service here isn't groundbreaking, they do a phenomenal job of making every patron feel more like family. The smiles and pleasantries are real and the teamwork is awesome. (You especially won't be disappointed when you go to celebrate a birthday)

Lastly, and certainly the most important, the sushi was PHENOMENAL. Every roll was crafted to perfection and the tastes were booming. Unexpected flavours that spun sushi anew like the Vitamin C roll. Classic varieties such as the Spicy Tuna Roll. This place knows sushi and every bite was simply divine. My personal favourite roll was the Orange Crush roll.

This is not a place for those looking for a boring, lackluster, get-in-get-out restaurant. This is a place for those looking for a youthful, energetic experience. If you love sushi and a good time then you...
