A bunch of my friends are in a kickball league down the street from here, and this was the easy spot to migrate to after games. They have a good beer selection and their prices aren't too bad either. The last time we were in there, a friend ordered two draft beers and paid with a $50. The bartender drops back off a stack of 4 $5 bills and walks away, either thinking we were too drunk or not paying close enough attention to notice. My friend calls her back and she immediately apologized, bringing back his correct change without question. We thought this was shady, but chalked it up to being a one time error. Later on in the night, it came to be that this exact same thing happened to two other people, where the bartender either brought back not enough change, or just failed to bring back change at all. As we are discussing this on the way home, other people chimed in that this has happened to them in the past and they just thought she was making a mistake. After that is was obvious to us that this lady was blatantly trying to steal from the customers. Needless to say, we don't go back to this bar anymore. If you do decide to go, PAY VERY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO THE CHANGE...
Read moreMy parents (65 and 70 years old) came here last night to grab a quick drink. Upon walking in, an employee shouted across the bar at them that they needed to show their IDs, despite the fact that they are very clearly not under 21. When my dad went to show him his ID, the employee demanded that he take it completely out of his wallet to be seen and did so very rudely. My father is 70. Because of his poor treatment of them, my mom told my dad they needed to leave because they did not deserve to be yelled out by an employee at a bar. As they walked out, the employee then came outside and shouted at them, "I GUESS YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR IDs THEN." This service and treatment is rude and inappropriate, and it is absolutely infuriating that any employee anywhere would treat my parents or anyone else this way. Our family will never return to this business and will tell everyone we know that this is not a place to go if you want to be treated with dignity...
Read moreThis is a a great place to grab a drink and be entertained by live bands or DJ on some nights. Always smiles and loud laughter all around. It is a mixed crowd of locals, regulars and sporty people. The drinks are priced at a typical bar price. The energy and ambience is eclectic and electric. You can always spark up a conversation as everyone is welcoming and friendly. The crew is awesome and attentive and jive well with each other and customers. I guess you can say I'm a fan of this place and feel like it's my home bar kinda like the show "Cheers" only...
