The barista called Kim delivering beverages to customers was extremely loud and rude, shouting to customers @ 4:20am in the morning. When I approached the counter after my name was called, she shouted @ me: do not touch anything until I give it to you! After this unnecessary aggravating episode, I suggested just to treat customers nicely, and she yelled @ me “Im just doing my job” well do it nicely then, “I am being nice” she yelled once again! By the way the order was under the of my wife Kathy and she kept sreaming “an order for Paddy”
I spent $57 dollars to get 4 small americano coffees, 2 croissants and a slice of banana bread, nothing complicated.
is it possible to get a normal treatment? I work customer service quality and improvement, and my too cents to SB management is: you can hire Superman as CEO and pay absurdly amounts of money, but it won't make any difference until you train and maybe pay better your customer service team and of course have difficult conversations with all the “KIM’s” in the organization”. Restricting the restroom usage is not really the direction I...
Read moreThis is what happens when the Starbucks product is inside the airport, but it's staffed by slow airport employees. The Monopoly of food services at airports in the United States forbids real Starbucks employees from making their own product inside of the airport. This is why you get the same taste, but with none of the standards, efficiency or urgency that a real Starbucks barista would use in making your coffee. Today, at 6:00am, I waited for ten minutes in a slow-as-molasses line and finally gave up. Not the start to my day I'd hoped for. I have had coffee from this location in the past and they are consistently slow. I can honestly say that 99% of airport Starbucks locations are incredibly slow compared to any normal Starbucks stores. So, next time you head to the airport, you're much better off hitting your local Starbucks or anything off the airport site. Otherwise you'll be glancing nervously at your watch like most of the people I was in line with, trying to decide whether a cup of coffee is worth missing a flight for. #starbucksfail #hmshost...
Read moreWorst Starbucks ever.. I usually love Starbucks and it is a treat for us. We fly out of SAN a lot and use the Starbucks in terminal 2. There is always a line. The cashiers barely speak english which makes it harder. They regularly get the order incorrect and I order straight off the menu, changing only the milk option. For instance, today, I ordered the vanilla sweet cream cold brew. Oat or soy milk. She said something about it being a mix. But it's not. It's coffee with cream on top. So I repeat my order asking if it were possible to do oat or soy. She said yes. 20 minutes later, I am handed an iced coffee with soy. It was mixed up with something, I'm assuming sugar, floating at the bottom. When I said this is not what I ordered (surprise) they ignored me and kept making drinks. I would still love to try that fun drink that's right there displayed on the menu, but I'll drink the $5.00 iced coffee I could have made at home. I'm over it! Peets, you now have...
