TownPlace Suites by Marriott in San Diego Airport/Liberty is family friendly, close to the airport, close to Liberty Public Market, a block away from Spanish Landing and Miracle Park. We enjoyed our stay and couldnt wait to go back. #hotel #familyfriendlyhotel #sandiego

Google labels this place as a "2-star" hotel, so at best you know you're getting fairly mediocre accommodation. That being said, this hotel has a lot going for it that makes for a decent stay. While the rooms are fairly bare bones (there is a kitchenette), the gym isn't too bad, and the location can be great, depending on what you're in San Diego for. If you're vacationing to SD and plan on driving everywhere, this hotel probably isn't too bad, and parking is much cheaper and abundant than anywhere downtown. If you're working at Point Loma Annex or want to spend time in the Liberty Station area, this hotel is in a perfect location and very walkable. This hotel is also walkable to the airport, although there is a shuttle, so it's easy to get to. However, if you want to be near downtown and not drive a bunch, this is not the hotel for you. It's not near the trolley either. Another plus to this hotel is the breakfast. It's about what you'd expect from a free hotel breakfast, but definitely no worse. Fresh fruit, oatmeal, waffle maker, eggs, potatoes, etc. Not amazing quality, but not too bad either. Overall, knowing the limitations of this hotel, it's not a bad option.

Title: Exceptional stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott!

Review: I recently had the pleasure of staying at TownePlace Suites by Marriott, and I cannot express enough how satisfied I was with my experience. From convenient location to impeccable service, this hotel has it all.

First and foremost, I must commend Maryann, the front office agent, for her exceptional customer service skills. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home from the moment I walked through the doors. Maryann went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, making the check-in process swift and hassle-free.

The rooms at TownePlace Suites were pristine, reflecting the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Not a speck of dust or a misplaced item in sight! The attention to detail was evident, creating an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to indulge in a restful night's sleep after a long day of business meetings.

The entire staff at this hotel deserves recognition for their delightful manner and the way they make each guest feel like a part of their family. From the friendly housekeeping staff to the attentive restaurant team, every interaction was marked with genuine warmth and professionalism.

The amenities at TownePlace Suites certainly exceeded my expectations. The well-equipped fitness center enabled me to maintain my workout routine, while the complimentary breakfast offered a variety of delicious options to start my day off right. Additionally, the high-speed internet connection made it effortless for me to stay connected with my work and loved ones.

Furthermore, the hotel's convenient location made it a breeze to explore the surrounding area during my downtime. Whether I needed to grab a quick bite to eat or run errands, everything was within easy reach, saving me valuable time and effort.

Overall, my stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott was nothing short of exceptional. The exceptional customer service, spotlessly clean rooms, and the hospitable staff made my business trip a truly memorable one. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting, whether for business or leisure. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Thank you, TownePlace Suites by Marriott, for surpassing my expectations and providing me with a truly remarkable experience. I will undoubtedly be returning for...

We traveled to San Diego for a family vacation with our family of 4 (two younger kids). This location is pretty good, with not a whole lot of traffic and walking distance to Liberty Station restaurants and shops. We got a King studio with a hideaway bed in the couch, and it was very small for a family of four. While it worked, the hide a bed and the king bed ends touched, making it so that two people had to climb over the beds (and sleeping people) to use the restroom in the night. I would not recommend getting this type of room if you’re planning on staying here multiple nights and using the hide a bed—get a multiple bed room instead. We booked using points, and this was unfortunately all that was available. The room was nicely furnished, and the King bed was comfortable.

The airplane noise here is surprisingly not very noticeable. This hotel is slightly more quiet than a hotel next to a loud road or freeway. You can also adjust the thermostat to run the fan all night for white noise.

At this point, they are providing a room refresh every other day which works out well for us, but they didn’t take our trash can which I thought was odd—and really the only thing we needed “refreshed” in the first place. The refresh also doesn’t involve any cleaning of the bathroom or kitchen. Our room only had two towels and one washcloth when we arrived, so we had to go ask for towels for the 4 of us. The refresh only brought us the same amount. I felt like we had to keep asking the front desk for items that are usually replaced (soap bar, dishwasher detergent).

The reception people were very nice, and the common spaces were beautiful. We used the pool a few times, and they keep towels at the pool for use there. It was 3.5-4 feet deep which was perfect for our kids. The breakfast worked well, and they had people working hard at the breakfast every morning to keep everything replenished. The breakfast has an oatmeal/yogurt bar, cereals, a juice machine, toast/bagels/English muffins, a couple pastries, and one type of warm entree daily (sausage biscuit or ham croissant, switched daily).

I would definitely stay here again, but if we do I’ll make sure to choose a larger room...

We arrived at the hotel on a Monday afternoon. Although the standard check-in time is 4:00 PM, the staff was very accommodating and had a room ready for us when we arrived at noon. This was especially appreciated since we had a car full of luggage and Christmas presents that we didn’t want to leave unattended while visiting Balboa Park.||I requested a top-floor room away from elevators, ice machines, and the outdoor pool, and the hotel honored all of these requests without issue.||Both the desk clerk and manager were fantastic, providing outstanding customer service.||Our room, with two queen beds, was incredibly spacious—nearly twice the size of a typical hotel room. The bathroom was also very large, and the full-size refrigerator and microwave were welcome additions.||The hotel was very clean, featuring a large, welcoming lobby and a spacious breakfast area. However, there is a $20/day parking charge, which seemed unnecessary given the ample parking space around the hotel.||The Wi-Fi speed was 20 Mbps for both uploads and downloads, and we experienced no interruptions during our stay. While we could hear airplanes taking off from our room, the noise stopped around 9 PM and didn’t resume until approximately 7 AM. Our room was otherwise very quiet throughout the night. Everything in the room worked perfectly, with one exception: the heating system didn’t blow warm air, even when the thermostat was set to a high temperature. It only seemed to circulate ambient air. Thankfully, this wasn’t a major issue as the weather wasn’t too cold during our stay.||The complimentary breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of items, including all the usual fare. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate chip scones! The coffee was also strong and flavorful.||We were told at check in that our room would be serviced once during our 3 day stay, but no one did so||In summary, we had another wonderful and peaceful stay at this property. I will definitely return in the future, provided their room prices...
