Every time I come to this place I feel like I’ve ascended into heaven. I get the chicken plate with saffron rice and hummus with pita.
The chicken is always so tender and seasoned perfectly, it melts in my mouth. The rice is always so moist and steamed to perfection. I usually get the plain hummus so…it tastes like plain hummus but the pita is great!!!
The 3 sauces (cilantro jalapeño, yogurt, fire sauce) are always amazing with the plate. My personal favorite is to mix the yogurt with the cilantro jalapeño…so good! A bit of spice while the yogurt balances it out.
I come here every 2 weeks. It’s so good.
The service is always great and fast. This location seems to be the best with speediness. I’ve online ordered and it was ready when I arrived. When I order with the person at the front it’s always ready in 5-10 minutes. The location is kind of funky because it’s a smaller part of the Nobel drive mall, however I take the trolley and it’s wonderfully accessible.
Place is always clean, staff is friendly, and the food is always immaculate.

Read moreFor supporting Ukrian and peace, I decided to have a lunch at Ukrainian restaurant. I found The Kebab Shop by searching Ukrainian restaurant near La Jolla. Actually, it is a Mediterranean one instead of Ukrainian. Anyway, I am still against Russia's invasion. First of all, thumb up for the garlic yogurt and cilantro dipping which at the self-service table. Especially the cilantro one, not to strong smell but good taste. For the food, I ordered a box with extra beef. The portion was too small, I couldn't believe this box had already added extra and cost almost $18. The salad was good, especially with the cucumber was a good idea. The fries were also good, crispy, and not too hard. But the beef was horrible, it was thin and the texture made you think it's fake meat. The beef was too salt and too oily. Now I understand why the portion was that small, otherwise, it will be too salty to eat. The set was too small and I had to buy another one from the Padadak next door to feed myself. It's not worth to...
Read moreI recently visited The Kebab Shop in San Diego while in town for a wedding and had a fantastic dining experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their San Diego wraps, which were bursting with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. The kebab meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, complemented by fresh vegetables and delicious sauces. Every bite was a delight for my taste buds.
I also had the pleasure of trying their crave fries, and they were absolutely delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. They made the perfect accompaniment to the wraps and added an extra layer of satisfaction to my meal.
Overall, I highly recommend The Kebab Shop if you're in San Diego. Their San Diego wraps are flavorful and satisfying, and the crave fries are a must-try. You won't be disappointed by the quality of the food or the service. It's a great spot to satisfy your...
