Wanted a different spot than our usual for breakfast that was both not to far and affordable. Did a Google search and Working Class popped up, iI had actually never heard of it. It was bustling and busy on a Sunday morning as football games are on today and this place is the child of a three-way between a dinner, sports bar, and craft beer joint: modern, causal, hints of industrial in craft beer SD vibe. It has both indoor and outdoor space. It was crowded so we had no choice but to sit outside and it was great. Astro turf with high wooden fence and bench seating. It was a lovely, crisp and cool morning so felt nice to be seated outside. The coffee was excellent, service was superb and super fast considering how busy the place was, and the food was great!!! We are fans of biscuits and gravy and so ofcourse we had to try it: very good. Pops got the short stack and the pancakes looked fluffy and inviting. I had the Day Off and super enjoyed the fluffy scrambled eggs, good quality sausage links, crispy hash browns, and sausage with biscuit bites. I shared some of my moms raspberry jam for my toast and plate and WOW, that was some delicious jam! There was a giant connect four and extra-large jenga blocks outdoors so it's good spot for folks with kids and a super cute "yard rules" banner, so it's also a good spot for folks with four legged children. Excited to add this new spot onto the breakfast rotation for sure.

I’m going to start by saying. I have high standards because I work in the industry but, 1. The host didn’t lead me to any table, instead said anything in the back patio. I’d never visited before so I had no idea where to walk too. 2. Server took 18 minutes to bring waters and greet me and my friend. 3. We ordered two drinks and an app to start. App was delivered quickly without silverware. Gentleman dropping food off said he would bring some over - instead he got on his phone and was texting on the expo area. 4. Has to flag down someone else to bring silverware over. 5. 20 minutes after our drinks and app was done, I had to flag down a server to take our food order. She said she had to grab our server who then took 7 minutes to come back to us. 6. After getting our food we never saw our server again. 7. I had to ask for the check and sadly only tipped 10% After spending $65 dollars I would hope to have felt like a normal client but honestly now I know when I return to expect the worst and prepare to not tip at all.

Stopped by Working Class for a quick dinner and enjoyed the experience. It was chilly outside so we chose to sit inside and followed the sign that said to seat yourself. We were quickly approached by our wait person who greeted us and dropped off a couple of waters to sip on while we looked at the online menus. Working Class has an extensive beer menu and a good size food menu with a variety of foods to choose from. Tonight I ordered the spicy meatball sandwich and my partner ordered the Working Class Burger. For an additional six dollars you can add a side and a half pint. We both chose to go that route. The food came out hot and tasty - both of us said we would order the same again if given the opportunity. The service was great - prompt and friendly without being overbearing. The vibe is casual with some music playing in the background inside while sports were on all the tv’s. Outside on the patio the sound to the sports was on for those that wanted to concentrate on the game.

i ordered online from this place before. i remembered that i liked the food so being in the area i thought why not? i again ordered online and went in to pick it up. Never expected the treatment. I received but after reading other people’s reviews i assume it’s their SOP. when i spoke to the bartender and told him i was there to pick up my order he told me it would be a few minutes (although the app i ordered through said it was ready) however he never asked for the name on the order. but i made sure i told him the app i used. and sure enough he immediately had my order in hand. i walked outside and realized i hadn’t asked for utensils. i went back in to get some. i was met with defensiveness and instead of simply saying, “here you go “ while handing over the utensils (two not one person had to tell me that i didn’t indicate in the order that i needed them. i’m didn’t like the dismissive attitude of the bartender. from having to go through all that stuff i ended up missing mu bus. so i sat down to have a beer. ignored until i requested the check, i got to hear all their gossip and social plans. as an intuitive i got to feel waves of self righteous indignation of my being there. which i guess is better than the fear and ignorance i have to contend with people these days. i left him tip, hopefully he can buy sense and/or customer service skills for the next time i go there. because the food is good so i’ll be back. let one of the staff get out of pocket, poke street and the alley in back have ample space to resolve any issues that they think they have with me. i work in the industry as was well. can’t believe they forgot they wouldn’t have a job if it wasn’t for customers. i hope they get it together. The foods good, but not that good to act so...

Working Class is one of our go-to places for dinner. The atmosphere is nice, there is plenty of outdoor seating, now that the patio has been expanded. It's casual and inviting.

I love ordering the General Tso Cauliflower, deep fried cauliflower florets, General Tso sweet and spicy sauce, topped with sesame seeds. It is so tasty and filling. They also have a great veggie burger on the menu, Beyond meat patty, butter lettuce, tomato, red onion and sun-dried tomato aioli on a vegan poppy seed sea-salt kaiser bun. My husband almost always orders the Spinach and Berry salad, spinach, kale, strawberries, blueberries, herbed goat cheese, toasted almonds, and red wine vinaigrette. It's one of his favorite salads from anywhere. There a re a few more things I need to try on the menu. They have added some new dishes. Let me just say, you have to try the cast iron skillet chocolate chip cookie! It is topped with vanilla ice cream, for those who can tolerate dairy.

They keep a nice rotation of craft beers on tap, as well as a great selection of bottled beers, wine on tap and bottles. They do not have cocktails, but they have some good kombucha to choose from.

We were ordering delivery a lot during the shutdowns and they were always super fast. So glad we can go there more, now that we are eating out a little more.

It's a great place to eat outdoors and take a group of friends or your kiddos. They have a kid's menu. Dogs are also allowed...
