I have very sensitive skin and was looking for a gentler waxing experience. I found it with Ianthia at Turner Skin Therapies. It’s a a private massage room setting with relaxing music, lying on the massage bed she works her magic. My first time she used a hard wax ( a different wax then used by most salon near me) for my chin and lip area and I left there without the burning redness and the feeling like two layers of skin were just torn off my face, which was my usual experience with most salon waxing. My skin felt relaxed and so soft. Now we have been sugaring my chin and lip area and it’s an even gentler experience. It takes a little more time but well worth it and so is the price. I’d been getting my lashes done elsewhere by the same person for the past 9 years, but needed a more convenient location. While was nervous to try someone new, I decided to give Ianthia a shot. Not only did she give me gorgeous lashes, but she taught me so much that I never knew about caring for my lashes. She also used high quality lashes and glue that have helped to allow for regrowth of my badly damaged natural lashes.
