My recent experience with the chicken Shawarma at Cafe Elena was nothing short of extraordinary. Each bite of the Shawarma was a revelation, with the chicken succulent and juicy, perfectly complemented by crisp and refreshing vegetables. The flavors melded beautifully, transitioning seamlessly from the sensation of sipping the delicious sauce to savoring each bite of the grilled chicken.

By suggestion from a colleague who had visited in past trips, I stopped by Cafe Elena for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Food is delicious and the owners are incredibly kind and lovely. I stopped by every day I was there for a smoothie or food and each time had a lovely interaction with the owners.

Right before leaving for my flight home I stopped in one last time for a smoothie, I almost teared up that it was the last time I'd stop by. If I'm ever back in SF, this would be a staple to stop by again. The kindness and care from the owners made my entire stay so much better.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency across from this cafe and since we weren’t impressed with the hotel’s breakfast, we decided to give this cafe a try.
