What makes this Thai restaurant stand out from the others is the combination of house-made hot sauce, fresh house-made noodles, two unique flavor profiles from both Thai and Laotian dishes, and the chef’s awesome wok skills.
Thai Dishes: Koh Moo Yang | 5/5 | Very tender and the house made hot sauce is a MUST dip. Tom Yum Noodle Soup | 5/5 | Very fragrant and flavorful but I wish it was just a bit spicier because I like it Buldak spicy. Pad See Ew | 5/5 | Not overly sweet at all and it has the "Wok-Hei" (Smoky aroma from Wok) which is always good. Khao Soi | 4/5 | The curry broth is delicious but I would skip the chicken pieces next time.
Laos Dishes: Mhok Pla | 5/5 | I’ve had the Cambodian version (fish amok) plenty of times, but this is my first time trying the Laotian version. The flavors are pretty similar, but with just less curry powder. I do wish it was a little more spicy(it already has chopped up thai chilies all over the dish but I like them extra spicy), but flavor-wise, it’s still a solid 5/5. Kao Piak | 5/5 | Thick chewy house made noodles + chicken broth. Basically the Laos chicken...

Came here for a quick late afternoon weekend lunch and pleasantly surprised at the open yet cozy space. Heard about the food from reviews and from my mom/who doesn’t dole out compliments often.
Service is attentive and dishes came out quickly. The place was full and there were lots of to-go business. The other diners had delicious looking plates on their tables and everyone seemed happy and full.
We had pad Thai, fried rice and wonton noodle soup. My son loved the rice and the pad Thai was so delicious- perfectly cooked noodles and not overly sauced. It’s all about the sauce and the flavors were spot on. The soup was subtle and soothing. There were so many things I wanted to try so will be back again to try the Lao dishes. Glad to have such a great place in this...
Read moreI recently visited a new Thai-Laos restaurant in the Sunset district of San Francisco, and I highly recommend it. I had the pleasure of dining there on September 9 during their soft opening. As a Thai individual who appreciates Laos or E-san style cuisine, I was thoroughly impressed with their offerings. I ordered Por Tod Laos, Nam Kaow Tod (a personal favorite), Kang om gai, and Sup Nor Mai, all of which were unique dishes not commonly found in San Francisco. The flavors were authentic and reminiscent of home. Although I regrettably forgot to take photos due to my excitement to indulge in the delicious food, I will make sure to capture the experience on my next visit. I give this restaurant a five-star rating for its food, cleanliness,...
