My wife was at this store to pick up some Vivobarefoot brand shoes. Unfortunately, she was given the wrong size, apparently, the conversion form English to Euro conversion wasn't accurate. Nevertheless, my wife had to return them. It was inconvenient since we live about an hour away. This store is the only bay area location that carries the brand. We opted to go that route instead of direct order from the company. Since it was a misunderstanding my wife returned them with no issues; however, the pair she received were stained and that did not work for me. I was a bit upset that we were given shoes that had stains on them. They were also dirty on the soles. They appeared to have been used. The stain and dirt was pretty obvious because the shoes were bright white. I wrote to the store customer service and also called to leave a message. The owner responded and was very helpful in rectifying the problem. We were able to ship the shoes back with a provided return label and received a brand new pair sent to me within a day. As a consumer, I appreciate the attention to customer service and a willingness to solve the problem. The owner, Mike, kept in touch with me via email and checked in to see how the shoes fit and if there was anything more he could do to assist. To me, this is going the extra mile and really focusing in on the most important aspect of the business, how you treat your customers. Sometimes businesses make mistakes and that's ok, as long as they are wiling to fix to the satisfaction of their customers. They deserve a second chance and; therefore, earn and deserve a 5...
Read moreMy daughter wanted UGG Lowmel shoes more than anything this year for Christmas. I searched everywhere for these things and the only place I found them was at a national chain store and Footprint USA, which is a small business. I opted to go with Footprint and it was an excellent choice.
There is no substitute for doing business with one that actually cares for and makes sure to take care of their customers. That is exactly what I got from Footprint.
Not only did these shoes show up very quickly, I had constant communication from them throughout the entire process. I ordered these shoes late on a Friday evening, (So it must be counted as ordered on a Saturday) they were here in perfect condition on Thursday. Footprint shipped the shoes out the same day they received the order. There was no delay.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I live in Indiana and Footprint is in San Francisco. They got this order to me in 5 days. Thatâs honestly about how long it takes to get most Amazon orders these days.
I cannot say enough about how excellent my experience was with this AMAZING small business. I will absolutely order from them again. Even though I live halfway across the country.
Support small businesses. You will never get the quality, personal, and exceptional customer service at a chain store like you do with a small business. And this one just so happens to be exceptional beyond even great standards.
Thank you all so much for making my daughterâs Christmas wish come true. Everyone who had a part in this really made it...
Read morePurchased a pair of Uggâs for Christmas, for 163.99 plus shipping fees, got the product and was the wrong size. Called the company asking them about the return policy, was assured as long as the product was sent back in original box with tags I would get my full refund minus a 12$ shipping label fee. Took the product with the original box and tags to FedEx as foot print directed me to do so, gave them the box and label. I was refunded only 101$ this company stole 40% of my purchase from me! Said to me that FedEx attached the label to the box so itâs not considered damaged? And not able to be resold. The best part is I asked for my shoes to be returned to me then, and I would sell them on eBay and get my moneys worth vs a lousy 100$. They claim they were disposed of! So you stole 40% of my refund, and threw the out the brand new unworn product? For a small business this is a joke! I will never shop here again and I hope you...
