Diamond Coffee n' Pastry — Restaurant in San Francisco

I had a poor experience today. First time in the area, the cashier there had a bad attitude or just wasn’t friendly smile or welcoming, and then I ordered a cold brew and it tasted bitter and days old, I didn’t even taste the coconut milk I added, it tasted nothing like a good cold brew from in the city or any other cafe. I took 4 sips and returned it to the counter and got a refund (which I’m not sure got returned to my actual card because the card numbers I used to pay was not on the receipt, it was random card ending numbers) I then got an espresso shot which also tasted bad and was offered the whole container of milk or half and half like “serve yourself” and she walked away. 2 hours after leaving, I feel sick and have thrown up, I will never ever return. Employees at a coffee shop should be happy and welcoming, not straight faced and giving you a carton of milk to add yourself...

I discovered this charming Korean cafe through social media and couldn't resist visiting. Although it was located in the Inner Richmond neighborhood, which was a bit of a drive, it was well worth it. The cafe has a spacious interior with an inviting ambiance, complete with warm tones and an adorable photo op corner. We tried a mixture of sweet and savory pastries including a spinach and feta pastry and a tiramisu croffle, as well as a pistachio latte and guava nectar. While the pastries were delicious, I would have preferred them to be heated up. My friend thought the pistachio latte was a bit too sweet, but my drink...

I LOVE how cute and welcoming this cafe is, and how friendly the staff are. I would love to come back — except both times I ordered drinks here I got food poisoning and diarrhea. :(

The first time I ordered the Blue Magic so I assumed it was just the collagen (which I'd never consumed before). The second time I came back and ordered a regular latte, but still got food poisoning. I'm not lactose-intolerant and don't experience this issue at other coffee shops, so I worry that something about their ingredients or their equipment is causing the issue. Sadly, I don't think I'll be back...
