Need to grab a donut before you're 6 am shift?!? Well if you work at the near by UCSF location then this may be the case...and if so this is where you'll stop. I've been here several times and the donuts are consistently pleasing. Are they the most amazing donuts that I've ever had? No, but they are simple and fairly priced. You can get a simple donut for $0.95 and something more fancy like an apple fritter for about $1.95. I've gotten a couple dozen and brought them into work. There is a huge selection here at the beginning of the day, so come early to get your first pick (I'm partial to their old-fashioned donuts). They are open way late, too, making this place the perfect destination for a nighttime outing. As an added bonus, it doesn't seem to ever get too busy, making it one of the few neighborhood spots where you won't have to brave a line. Nevertheless, business must be good, since the case is pretty much all cleared out by...
